LIFT ~ A Fun, Fast-Paced Heist Movie

So guys, today we will be talking about the new movie 'Lift'. I have been very busy lately and have not had lots of time to watch movies, but I had to squeeze out time to see this particular movie because the hype was becoming too much and I was really anxious to know if this movie was actually worth the hype.

This movie starred Kevin Hart and we all know that Kevin Hart is this funny kind of guy right? However, in this particular movie, Kevin Hart was actually so serious that he did not even bother to crack any joke. Guess what guys, the movie still came out well.

Kevin Hart had to play the role of a master thief in this movie. He was pulled into one last job by his ex-girlfriend and the FBI to pull off a heist on a plane mid-flight. This wasn't an easy job to pull off and that's why I feel that the concept here sets the stage for a unique blend of high stakes and high altitude kind of movie and obviously, such kind of movie promises a thrilling ride for its audience.

See, I totally understand that this movie doesn't look original or rather the story line looked exactly similar to other past Netflix movies,but guys, to be honest with you, I enjoyed every bit of this movie. One thing we need to accept is the fact that every movie cannot have a different taste, but again, there is always something about each movie that makes it stand out.

So the movie Lift is purely one hour, forty minutes long of fun. To be honest with you, I actually enjoyed the beginning, or rather, the first heist compared to other parts of the movie. The pacing was balanced, the acting was fine and yet very predictable. I am not a spoiler so don't expect me to say anything more about this movie. You just have to go see it yourself and pass through the suspense I passed through while watching it.

The only thing I felt that would have made the movie a lot better, even more interesting is diving deep or giving more details about each character, especially the man that is said to be the most dangerous person in the country. Honestly I didn't even give a damn about him because there was no story around him.
