Recuerdo con asombro infantil cómo esas producciones - donde cada nota, cada arreglo orquestal y cada letra estaban cuidadosamente elaboradas - transformaron mi oído y mis preferencias artísticas. Since my earliest years, the magical world Disney built through its animated films and, especially, its movie musicals, deeply shaped my musical perception. I remember with childlike wonder how those productions - where every note, every orchestral arrangement, and every lyric were carefully crafted - transformed my ear and artistic preferences. It wasn't just entertainment; it was sensory education that taught me to appreciate the sublime alchemy between well-built melodies, complex harmonies, and lyrics that told stories. Those musicals showed me how a well-coordinated orchestra could elevate a simple song into something transcendent, where each instrument added its voice to a perfectly balanced sonic chorus.
Entre todas las joyas musicales de Disney, Hércules ocupa un lugar especial en mi corazón. Aunque la película tiene temas más movidos y energéticos, esta balada en particular se convirtió en mi himno personal de perseverancia. Cada vez que la escucho, renueva mi determinación por vivir de la música y alcanzar reconocimiento internacional. Es curioso cómo una canción concebida para un héroe mitológico terminó siendo el combustible que alimenta los sueños de un músico venezolano. Esas notas llevan más de dos décadas recordándome que, como Hércules, debo seguir entrenando mi arte, superando obstáculos y creyendo que mi lugar está entre las estrellas del Olimpo musical.
Among all Disney's musical jewels, Hercules holds a special place in my heart. Although the film has more upbeat and energetic themes, this particular ballad became my personal anthem of perseverance. Whenever I hear it, it renews my determination to make a living from music and achieve international recognition. It's curious how a song conceived for a mythological hero ended up being the fuel that feeds a Venezuelan musician's dreams. Those notes have been reminding me for over two decades that, like Hercules, I must keep training my art, overcoming obstacles, and believing my place is among the stars of the musical Olympus.
