This new series set in Game of Thrones feels perfect. It doesn't exaggerate, it simply follows the story from another point of view from that first episode that gave so much to talk about. Not because it lacks identity, but because it dares to be small in a world that has always been gigantic. Furthermore, there are no great armies, just a wandering knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and a clever and mysterious boy named Egg. These two characters move slowly, from tournament to tournament, from town to town, as if the real journey were not geographical but moral, and they are responsible for creating a unique story.

Esta nueva serie ambientada en Juego de Tronos se siente perfecta, no exagera, simplemente sigue la historia desde otro punto de vista desde ese primer episodio que dio mucho de que hablar. No porque le falte identidad, sino porque se atreve a ser pequeña en un mundo que siempre ha sido gigantesco. Además, no hay grandes ejércitos, simplemente un caballero errante, Ser Duncan el Alto, y un niño listo y misterioso llamado Egg. It's a series that trusts its characters and the time you spend with them. Although the episodes are short, this works in their favor, as they don't drag on, they don't inflate themselves, they don't betray their essence to appear bigger than they are.

Al conocer las otras historia, esta se vuelve mucho más sencilla y nos lleva a ir disfrutando de toda la trama, y ver cada una de esas personalidades que tienen donde Dunk no es un héroe perfecto ni un estratega brillante; es torpe, noble. Egg no es solo un escudero, sino una pieza clave de un futuro y eso es parte del encanto. Como también los episodios todos giran a través de pequeños conflictos: el honor, la injusticia, la palabra, la lealtad. Y funciona porque todo se siente humano, cercano, casi cotidiano.

Una de las cosas que permite que sea especial El caballero de los Siete Reinos, ese tono que presenta, momentos de humor, silencios, decisiones y escenas que no buscan el impacto inmediato, sino quedarse contigo después. Es una serie que confía en sus personajes y en el tiempo que pasas con ellos. A pesar de que los episodios son cortos, eso les favoreció, puesto que no se alarga, no se infla, no traiciona su esencia para parecer más grande de lo que es.

Thus, Westeros remains dangerous and unjust, but this time, we travel through it on foot, with a worn sword, a curious squire, and the feeling that, even in such a harsh world, honor can still matter and, at the same time, not give up.

Visualmente, la serie mantiene la calidad que se espera del universo, pero sin excesos, además poder recrear toda esa época y a la vez poder entender todo, como también cada uno de los paisajes, los torneos son más crudos que espectaculares, y el vestuario acompaña sin robar protagonismo y por eso cada uno de estos detalles permite que la serie sea especial.

Por lo tanto, El caballero de los Siete Reinos, es una serie con pocos giros, batallas sencillas, simplemente historias bien contadas, para quienes entienden que a veces los relatos más importantes no cambian el mundo, solo cambian a las personas que los viven. Por ende Poniente sigue siendo peligroso, injusto, Pero esta vez, lo recorremos a pie, con una espada gastada, un escudero curioso y la sensación de que, incluso en un mundo tan duro, el honor todavía puede importar y a la vez de no rendirse.
