Cada Navidad es muy distinta para cada quien y lo disfruten con su estilo y eso permite que estas películas sean perfecta para todas las edades y esta nueva entrega nos presenta la historia de una pareja que, a pesar de estar en proceso de divorcio, deciden pasar una última Navidad juntos, ya que es aquí donde dejan los problemas aun lado para así disfrutar y no es por obligación, sino por costumbre, por nostalgia o quizás por miedo a soltar del todo y no poder celebrar más Navidades juntos y eso es algo que se aprecia hoy en día en la vida real. Desde allí comienza la verdadera aventura y va presentando situaciones incómodas, momentos divertidos y otros bastante emocionales, que se sienten muy reales, como esas cenas donde todos sonríen, pero el ambiente dice otra cosa, ya que nunca será igual estar con una familia que se quiera a una que tenga problemas.

Otras de las cosas que hace que la película mantengan esa esencia de Navidad, es enseñar todo muy real sin la necesidad de ser exagerado ni mágico. Mostrando todo lo que puede ocurrir en una familia que esté pasando por esa situación, como silencios incómodos, conversaciones que duelen y recuerdos que pesan y quedarán allí especialmente las Navidades, sin embargo, también hay risas, gestos pequeños y esa sensación de que, incluso cuando todo parece terminado, todavía quedan cosas por entender y poder llegar a una solución, por eso es un juego de emociones en plena celebración de Navidad y es aquí donde también juega un papel importante la toma de decisiones y expresar lo que sienten de verdad.

Cada una de las escenas de esta producción muy bien elaborada, coloridas y sobre todo ambientadas a estas fechas de navidad y eso hace que todo sea especial y único. Como también Las actuaciones logran transmitir esa mezcla entre humor y melancolía, a pesar de que los actores era la primera vez que los veían actuando y lo hacen, ya que no se siente forzado, todo fluye con naturalidad, como si estuviéramos observando una historia que podría pasarle a cualquiera en estas fechas tan importantes como lo es Navidad. Además, la película avanza sin prisa, permitiendo que cada escena se puede llegar a entender y así poder conectar desde la felicidad hasta la tristeza que ocurre.

That's why An Exceptional Christmas has a wide variety of messages, each of which will have a different meaning for each family, because in the end, Christmas isn't always about happy endings, but about honest endings, and that's also part of growing up.

Fue una gran película y para ser una de las primeras que veo de este estilo navideño, de que cada tradición navideña será única y por más que sea sin fechas muy importantes para todas las familias y este tipo de celebraciones también son para cerrar un ciclo, dejar un recuerdo y disfrutar. Por eso Una Navidad ex-cepcional, cuenta con amplia variedad de mensajes y que cada uno tendrá un significado distinto para cada familia, porque al final, la Navidad no siempre se trata de finales felices, sino de finales honestos y eso también es parte de crecer.
