Hay películas que siempre serán muy bien apreciadas y por más que saquen secuencias serán todo un éxito y eso permite que los personajes que hacen vida cada vez sean más nombrados, reconocidos y no porque el tiempo no pase, sino porque siempre regresan al mismo lugar: a ese rincón donde uno se permite reír sin pedir explicaciones y cada película dejará una gran enseñanza. Por eso nuevamente se estrenó una nueva parte Bob Esponja: Una aventura pirata, la cual es todo un clásico y llega para seguir esa historia de aventura, para no demostrar nada nuevo, solo recordarte algo que ya sabías: que la simpleza también puede ser un refugio y por eso es una película que se adapta para todos y seguro que te hará reír.

I was surprised by this new installment, and the production seeks to continue telling the story of the depths of the sea. It feels like an extension of the series that was needed in order to continue discovering many more details. This is a franchise that has been around for years, and its strength lies in keeping SpongeBob simple, without exaggeration or modernization, simply that yellow character that every child remembers. That's why he remains the same here: optimistic, clumsily brave, and convinced that the world is on his side. And even though it's full of pirates, his new mission is to face this different place with a smile.

This sequel is perfect for giving the story a twist with a pirate adventure that works very well and thus achieves something new that is not repetitive of previous versions. It doesn't matter so much where they're going, but how they get there, which is why there's no shortage of absurd jokes, awkward silences, and disproportionate reactions, all of which have kept the Bikini Bottom universe going for years. There are also moments when the story wanders, as if the film prefers to play around rather than move forward, but SpongeBob has never been in a hurry.

Me sorprendió esta nueva parte y la producción busca seguir contando esa historia de más profundidades del mar y por se siente como una extensión de la serie que hacía falta para así poder seguir descubriendo mucho más detalles. Esta es una franquicia que tiene años y su punto fuerte es mantener a Bob esponja sencillo, sin exageración, ni más moderno simplemente ese personaje amarillo que todo niño recuerda, por eso aquí se mantiene igual optimista, torpemente valiente y convencido de que el mundo está a su favor, y aunque esté lleno de piratas que será su nueva misión es un lugar distinto que se enfrenta con una sonrisa.

Esta continuación es perfecta para así darle un giro a la historia con una aventura pirata que funciona muy bien y de esa manera lograr algo nuevo y que no sea repetitiva de las versiones anteriores. No importa tanto hacia dónde van, sino cómo llegan, por eso nunca pueden faltar esas bromas absurdas, los silencios incómodos, las reacciones desproporcionadas, la cual todo hace que se mantenga el universo de Fondo de Bikini desde hace años. Como también hay momentos en los que la historia se dispersa, sí, como si la película prefiriera jugar antes que avanzar, aun así Bob Esponja nunca ha tenido prisa.

Visually, the film is very good, and they have managed to use each color without excess and maintain that cartoon style, so that it is not exaggerated, but at the same time almost childlike, and that connects directly with everyone, without expectations, without criticism, just letting ourselves be carried away and leading us to wonder: Will SpongeBob and Patrick be able to accomplish their mission?

This is one of those stories that, beyond being a pirate adventure with a villain, is about what it shows and creates, whether it's laughter, a memory, or a pause. It's also one of those films that allows you to disconnect, to accept that sometimes the silliest humor is the most appreciated. In the end, SpongeBob remains a character who doesn't need to grow up because he reminds us that not everything has to. And in a world that always demands more, that's already a little adventure in itself.

Visualmente, la película es muy buena y han sabido manejar cada uno de los colores sin exceso y mantener ese estilo de caricatura, para que así no sea exagerado, pero a la vez casi infantil, y eso conecta directamente con todos, sin expectativas, sin críticas, solo dejándose llevar y nos lleva a preguntarnos ¿Podrá Bob esponja y Patricio cumplir con su misión?

Esta es una de esas historias que más allá de ser una aventura de pirata, un villano, está en lo que se muestra y crea, ya sea risas, un recuerdo, una pausa, además es una de esas películas para desconectar, para aceptar que a veces el humor más tonto es justo el que más se agradece. Al final, Bob Esponja sigue siendo un personaje que no necesita crecer porque nos recuerda que no todo tiene que hacerlo. Y en un mundo que siempre exige más, eso ya es una pequeña aventura.
