Every year, new animated films continue to be released, often transporting us to fantastical, colorful worlds—a fun experience where each production has its own style and approach. But recently, one was released with a very interesting concept, known as Hoppers. This new Pixar production features an original story that blends adventure, humor, and a message about the relationship between humans and nature, making for some truly entertaining moments.

The story introduces us to Mabel, a young girl passionate about animals who is also fascinated by technology. That’s why she’s developed a system that allows human consciousness to be transferred into animal-shaped robotic bodies—something that’s been studied in the real world, and seeing it in an animated film is the best. This technology is still in the works—involving experiments and, above all, invention—so that this girl can infiltrate the animal world inside a mechanical beaver. This allows her to observe up close how forest creatures live and the problems they face, leading us to wonder: Will she be able to adapt to animal life?

Cada año siguen llegando nuevas películas animadas y suelen llevarnos a mundos fantásticos, coloridos y es una experiencia divertida, donde cada producción tiene su estilo y enfoque, pero hace poco se estrenó una, con una idea muy interesante y es conocida como Hoppers. Esta nueva producción de Pixar apuesta por una historia original, mezclando aventura, humor y un mensaje sobre la relación entre los humanos y la naturaleza, por eso serán los minutos más divertidos.

La historia nos presenta a Mabel, una joven apasionada por los animales y a la vez le llama mucho la atneción la tecnología, por eso ha desarrollado un sistema que permite transferir la conciencia humana a cuerpos robóticos con forma de animal, siendo algo que se ha venido estudiando en el mundo real y verlo en una película animada es lo máximo. Una tecnología que va en proceso, prácticas y sobre todo inventar para que así esta chica logre infiltrarse en el mundo animal dentro de un castor mecánico, lo que le permite observar de cerca cómo viven las criaturas del bosque y los problemas que enfrentan y nos lleva a preguntarnos ¿Podrá adaptarse a la vida animal?

This is one of those stories that becomes a hit thanks to its adventures, vibrant colors, characters, funny moments, and unexpected twists—especially the technology that allows a human to transform into an animal, something many children might not fully grasp. Even so, the girl must adapt and learn the rules of nature, which are very different from those of the human world, forcing her to make quick decisions.

The scenes are beautifully crafted with striking visuals, where the various natural landscapes are full of life—from the rivers flowing through the forest to the beaver dams—leaving viewers amazed by what the animals do, which at first glance seems simple but is actually quite complex. Furthermore, every minute of the film is designed to convey a sense of constant movement, as if the environment were also an active part of the story, involving both the forest and the city.

Esta es de esas historia que se convierte en un éxito por cada una de las aventuras, los colores, los personajes, los momentos divertidos y esas situaciones inesperadas que por una tecnología, que quizás muchos niños no entienda como un humano puede convertirse en animal. Aun así la chica tendrá que moverse y aprender las reglas de la naturaleza que son muy diferentes a las del mundo humana, la cual la lleva a tomar decisiones rápidamente.

Las escenas muy bien elaboradas con aspectos llamativos, donde los distintos paisajes naturales están llenos de vida, desde los ríos que atraviesan el bosque hasta los refugios que construyen los castores, la cual uno queda sorprendido por lo que hacen los animales que a simple vista parece sencillo, pero no lo es. Como también cada minuto de la película está diseñado para transmitir una sensación de movimiento constante, como si el entorno también fuera parte activa de la historia, involucrando el bosque y la ciudad.

Another strong point that adds to the film’s appeal is its humor, which is perfect for a good laugh. The movie also draws on many everyday situations from the animal world to create funny moments, especially when Mabel tries to adapt to her new circumstances. However, what stands out most is seeing a human trying to behave like a beaver—it leads to some pretty creative scenes, lots of laughs, and the realization that it’s not easy at all.

Beyond the comedy and adventure evident in this new Hoppers film, it’s the messages it conveys—inviting us to reflect on the importance of protecting ecosystems and understanding that every creature has a role within nature, and that humans must respect and care for them. I really liked the result of this animated film, and while it may not be the studio’s most emotionally moving production, it is a fresh take that shows there’s still room for new ideas in animated cinema.

Otro punto fuerte que le aporta valor es el humor que usan, perfecto para uno reír, además la película utiliza muchas situaciones cotidianas del mundo animal para generar momentos divertidos, especialmente cuando Mabel intenta adaptarse a su nueva condición. Sin embargo, lo que más resalta es ver a una humana tratando de comportarse como un castor provoca escenas bastante creativas, risas y darse cuenta de que no es nada fácil.

Más allá de la comedia y la aventura que se puede notar en esta nueva película de Hoppers, son los mensajes que deja y es que nos invita a pensar en la importancia de proteger los ecosistemas y entender que cada criatura tiene un papel dentro de la naturaleza y los seres humanos tienen que respetar y cuidar. Me gusto mucho el resultado de esta película animada y tal vez no sea la producción más emotiva del estudio, pero sí es una propuesta fresca que demuestra que todavía hay espacio para nuevas ideas dentro del cine animado.
