Por eso se estrenó Jingle Bell Heist, la cual mezcla el brillo de la Navidad con el pulso de un robo perfectamente improvisado, siendo algo muy distinto que permite que sea única y por eso ha dado mucho de que hablar. El resultado no es una obra maestra, pero sí una propuesta curiosa que se deja ver con facilidad, sobre todo si buscas algo ligero para estas fechas de Navidad y seguir viendo esos estrenos.

The film has a very simple but interesting plot, as it transports us to London, decorated down to the last corner for Christmas, and seeing that culture is a beautiful thing to learn about. We also meet Sophia and Nick, two characters who don't seem cut out to trust anyone, let alone work together during the Christmas season, when you have to be very vigilant. However, necessity and having nothing else to do bring them together to carry out a robbery that takes place at the most eagerly awaited time of the year: Christmas Eve. From that moment on, the story unfolds amid improvised plans, small mistakes, and a connection that grows almost without asking permission, leaving us wondering: Will the robbery go well? Will they be the best couple?

The film has a great pace, and one of the best things that made this film shine is the setting of each of its scenes, simply by presenting the whole city full of lights, that tradition that everyone has, which makes it feel real, without going overboard and maintaining that tradition. Furthermore, being set during the Christmas season is the perfect time to create the plot of a robbery and at the same time add a touch of romance between the protagonists, allowing for moments of laughter and tension and making the film much more appealing and perfect for all ages.

La película cuenta con una trama muy sencilla, pero a la vez interesante, ya que nos traslada a Londres decorada hasta el último rincón de Navidad y ver esa cultura es algo muy bonito para así aprender, además conocemos a Sophia y Nick, dos personajes que no parecen hechos para confiar en nadie, y mucho menos para trabajar juntos en estas fechas de Navidad, donde se tiene que estar muy pendiente. Sin embargo, la necesidad, y sin más nada que hacer ambos se unen para realizar un atraco que ocurre en el momento más esperado por todos como lo es Nochebuena. Desde ese momento, la historia avanza entre planes improvisados, pequeños errores y una conexión que va creciendo casi sin pedir permiso y nos preguntamos ¿El robo saldrá bien?, ¿Serán la mejor pareja?

La película tiene un gran ritmo y uno de las mejoras cosas que hizo que esta película brillara es la ambientación de cada una de las escenas de la misma, por el mismo hecho de presentar toda la ciudad llena de luces, esa tradición que tiene cada persona y eso permite que sea sienta real, sin caer del todo en el exceso y manteniendo esa tradición. Además, al estar en las fechas de Navidad es el momento perfecto para así poder crear la trama de un robo y a la vez un toque de romance entre los protagonistas, permitiendo crear momentos de risa, de tensión y hace que la película se vuelva mucho más atractiva y perfecta para todas las edades.

Otras de las cosas es que mantienen ese ritmo sencillo y no arriesgan en hacer cosas nuevas para estas fechas de Navidad, por eso hay momentos todo es muy predecible, los giros se ven venir, las motivaciones se explican rápido y algunos conflictos se resuelven con demasiada comodidad. Aun así, esta película de Jingle Bell Heist, es una producción bastante corta para entretener, para pasar el rato y para recordarnos, que aunque sea de forma sencilla, incluso en las decisiones equivocadas puede esconderse una segunda oportunidad, además estas fechas son importantes para estar familia, compartir y disfrutar de cada momento que se pueda.
