All of this makes the film interesting, effective, and different from others, precisely because it does not try to turn him into a perfect hero. It shows him with his flaws, his excessive ambition, and his constant need to prove that he is superior to others.

Here they show a very different sport from the one they always present, and being table tennis makes it very special and exciting, as they manage to make each match feel intense, capturing every movement, every stroke, and at the same time each match becomes more important in that career, where a defeat can be the end, as well as each confrontation being a battle of personalities.

Una de las cosas que permite que la producción se vuelva especial es poder ver con detalle la vida de ese joven obsesionado con ser el mejor, una aptitud nada buena, además un pensamiento muy distinto a otros deportistas, ya que no quiere solo ganar partidos; quiere ser famoso, reconocido, lo cual lo lleva a tomar decisiones que al principio no se da cuenta, pero al final duelen y por eso nos lleva a preguntarnos ¿Podrá lograrlo?. Todo esto permite que la película se vuelva interesante, funcione y sea distinta a las demás, por el mismo hecho de que no intenta convertirlo en héroe perfecto. Lo muestra con sus defectos, su ambición desmedida y su necesidad constante de demostrar que es superior a los demás.

Aquí muestran otro deporte muy distinto al que siempre presenta, y al ser tenis de mesa lo vuelve muy especial y emocionante, ya que logran que cada partido se sienta intenso, logrando captura movimiento radios, cada golpe y a la vez cada partido se vuelven más importante en dicha carrera, donde una derrota puede ser el final, como también cada enfrentamiento es una batalla de personalidad.

I really liked the result, which is why Marty Supreme is a different kind of sports movie, an inspiring one that shows that things can be achieved, despite the adversities one has to go through. In addition, it features a great performance by actor Timothée Chalamet and intense direction, which achieved its goal of portraying talent and obsession in a way that leaves no one indifferent. La película tiene un ritmo muy rápido, escenas cargadas de energía y momentos que pueden sentirse un poco exagerados, pero a la vez son perfectos como si uno mismo estuviera allí en busca de ese sueño deportivo. Además, es una de esas historia que no son nada sencillas en poder recrear y más aún con todo ese tema del tenis de mesa, ya que más allá de eso ese deportista vive cada momento como si fuera el último, la ambición, el precio del éxito, ser recordado y ese miedo de pasar desapercibido ante el mundo.

Me gusto mucho el resultado y por eso Marty Supreme es una película deportiva diferente, inspiradora y de esas que muestran que las cosas si se pueden lograr, a pesar de las adversidades que se tenga qué pasar. Además, destaca una gran actuación del actor Timothée Chalamet, una dirección intensa, que logró con el objetivo de poder mostrar un retrato de talento y obsesión que no deja indiferente.
