One of the movies that surprised me and left me feeling very sad is Always by Your Side, because beyond being a very well-known film, it brings back so many memories for me. That’s why every time I watch it, I feel like crying—it immediately makes me think of my pet and all the moments I shared with her; it was such a beautiful relationship. We had a little cat at home, and the movie reminds me of those little moments that seem simple—like coming home to find him waiting for me, walking right behind me, spending the whole day on the furniture, playing with him using a little ball—and his presence in the house made us all happy, both on the good days and the hard ones.

Una de las películas que me sorprendió y me dejo muy triste es la película Siempre a tu lado, ya que más allá ser una película muy reconocida me trae muchos recuerdos, por eso cada vez que la veo me dan ganas de llorar, puesto que de inmediato me pongo a pensar en mi mascota y en todos los momentos que compartí junto a ella, siendo una relación muy bonita. En casa teníamos un pequeño gato y la película me hace recordar esos pequeños instantes que parecen sencillos, como llegar a casa y encontrarlo esperándome, caminaba de tras de mí, estaba todo el día sobre el mueble, jugar con él con una pequeña pelota y su presencia en la casa nos hacía feliz a todos tanto en los días buenos y en los difíciles.

Over time, this pet stops being just a companion and becomes another member of the family, just like in the movie, because a bond forms that no one can break with a pet. This little cat earns a place in our home and, above all, in our hearts, because as the days go by, we love him more and more—which is why movies about pets are perfect for making you realize that they, too, deserve a place and some love.

I’ve had the chance to watch this movie many times with my dad and on several occasions by myself, but I still enjoy it, and it feels so personal—it reflects that unconditional love that only a pet can offer, whether it’s a cat, a dog, or any other animal. My little cat was perfect, and one of my funniest memories is that I used to talk to him—and even though they probably can’t talk or understand, just watching them move is something I’ll always remember.

Con el paso del tiempo, esta mascota deja de ser solo un animal de compañía para convertirse en un miembro más de la familia, tal como ocurre en la película, ya que se crea una relación que es inevitable que nadie la rompa con una mascota. Este pequeño garo se gana un lugar en nuestro hogar y, sobre todo, en nuestro corazón, puesto que a medida que van pasando los días uno lo quiere más y por eso las películas de mascota son perfecta para darte cuenta de que ellos también merecen un espacio y un cariño.

Esta película ha tenido la oportunidad de verla muchas veces estando con mi padre y en varias ocasiones solo, pero aun así la disfruto y se siente tan personal, ya que refleja ese amor incondicional que solo una mascota puede ofrecer, ya sea un gato, perro o cualquier otro animal. Mi pequeño gato era perfecto y uno de los recuerdos más divertido es que me ponía hablar con él y aunque seguramente ellos no puedan hablar, no entiendan, simplemente con verlos cómo moverlos es algo que siempre voy a recordar.

At the same time, it also conveys a sense of sadness, because it’s sad that they won’t be with us forever—something that hurts me the most. After spending several years with my cat and then suddenly having him gone, it’s very hard to bear. That’s why movies, like the memories we build with our pets, last forever—even when they can no longer be by our side—and that’s what we need to cherish more and more.

That’s why, for me, this movie is a reminder that the most sincere love is found with a pet, since a pet brings us so much joy, cares for us, and fills my family with happiness every day. But these are stories that won’t last a lifetime; the only thing that remains is the certainty that the love we share with them never disappears, because it lives on forever in our memories and in our hearts.

Mientras que también no enseña y muestra un sentimiento de tristeza, porque es triste que ellos no estarán con nosotros para siempre, siendo algo que más me duele y luego de varios años con mi gato y que de repente ya no esté es muy fuerte. Por eso es que las películas como los recuerdos que construimos con nuestras mascotas permanecen para siempre, incluso cuando ellas ya no pueden estar a nuestro lado y eso es lo que se tiene que valorar cada vez más.

Por eso para mí, esta película es un recordatorio de que el amor más sincero se encuentra con una mascota, ya que una la volará mucho, la cuida y agradece la felicidad que trae cada día a mi familia. Pero son historia que no durarán para toda la vida lo único que queda es la certeza de que el amor que compartimos con ellos nunca desaparece, porque vive para siempre en nuestros recuerdos y en nuestro corazón.
