In the world of cinema, a large number of series continue to arrive every day, many of which are low-budget, without much fanfare, and end up being a huge success episode after episode. That's why Steal, a series with very few episodes, was recently released. It's a thriller that doesn't rely on big explosions to hook you, but rather presents constant tension, a game of decisions, and above all, a series of characters who always seem to be on the verge of breaking down and hiding something.

This is one of those series that is very well received from start to finish, where we see something simple, but effective, as it is a robbery of a financial company that ends up becoming much bigger than it appears, where there will be a lot of money, fear, and what starts as a perfectly calculated robbery soon reveals layers of betrayal, secrets, and a network of interests that goes beyond money. I am sure that many high-level companies are involved in this, and this is where we ask ourselves, will it turn out well or badly? Because beyond that, the biggest prize is not just cash, but power, reputation, and survival in a situation like this.

En el mundo del cine cada día siguen llegando una gran cantidad de series, la cual muchas de ellas, con bajo presupuesto, sin tanto ruido y terminando siendo todo un éxito episodio tras episodio. Por eso hace poco se estrenó Steal una serie de muy poco episodio y que es exactamente un thriller que no cuenta con grandes explosiones para atraparte, sino que presenta una tensión constante, un juego decisiones y sobre todo una serie de personajes que parecen estar siempre a punto de romperse y ocultando algo.

Esta es una de esas serie que de inicio a fin son muy bien aceptada, donde aquí veremos algo sencillo, pero efectivo, ya que es un asalto a una empresa financiera que termina convirtiéndose en algo mucho más grande de lo que aparenta, donde habrá mucho dinero, miedo y lo que empieza como un robo perfectamente calculado pronto revela capas de traición, secretos y una red de intereses que va más allá del dinero y estoy seguro de que muchas empresas de alto nivel están involucradas en eso y es aquí donde nos preguntamos ¿Saldrá bien o mal?. Porque también más allá de eso el botín más grande no es solo efectivo, si no es poder, reputación y supervivencia ante una situación como esa.

Another thing that adds value is that the episodes are built with psychological tension rather than exaggerated spectacle, as if it were real life. This is where awkward silences, looks that say more than words, and twists that seek to surprise not through impact but through consistency come into play.

Visually, this series opts for very realistic, cold, colorful scenes that fit perfectly with the financial world it portrays, where everything looks impeccable, but underneath there is corruption, fear, and ambition. This is where the series tackles a major theme, and it's the most interesting part: how much that seems stable can collapse in a matter of hours. This is where the protagonists come into play, led by Sophie Turner, with a character who is neither good nor bad, but simply caught in the middle of the chaos, making decisions that are not always right, but are human, trying to get home alive.

Cada episodio mantiene esa tensión y sobre todo crea esa intriga de saber que pasará y por eso el ritmo es punto fuerte de esa producción, además otras de las cosas que le da valor es que los episodios están construidos con esa tensión psicológica por encima del espectáculo exagerado, como si fuera en la vida real. Donde entra en juegos silencios incómodos, miradas que dicen más que los diálogos y giros que no buscan sorprender por impacto, sino por coherencia.

Visualmente, esta serie apuesta por escenas muy realista, frías, coloridas que encaja perfectamente con el mundo financiero que retrata, donde todo luce impecable, pero debajo hay corrupción, miedo y ambición. Es aquí donde la serie abarca un gran tema y es lo más interesante, y es cómo mucho aparentemente estable puede derrumbarse en cuestión de horas. Aquí entra en juego los protagonistas y la principal Sophie Turner, con un personaje que no es ni la buena ni la mala, simplemente está en medio del caos, tomando decisiones que no siempre son correctas, pero sí humanas, tratando de poder llegar a casa con vida.

Ultimately, it's a series that's ideal for those who enjoy intelligent thrillers, the kind that don't just tell the story of a robbery, but explore the human flaws that make it possible. At times, it relies on genre clichés, and certain secondary characters could have been developed further. Even so, it manages to maintain interest until the end and leaves you with the feeling of having seen something compact, well-executed, and intentional. So far, it has achieved its goal and is one of those series that shows the true reality of what can happen in large companies.

Al final es una de series que es ideal para quienes disfrutan de thrillers inteligentes, de esos que no solo cuentan un robo, sino que exploran las grietas humanas que lo hacen posible. Como también en algunos momentos se apoya en clichés del género y ciertos personajes secundarios podrían haberse desarrollado más. Pero aun así, logra mantener el interés hasta el final y deja esa sensación de haber visto algo compacto, bien ejecutado y con intención. Hasta los momentos ha cumplido con el objetivo y de esas que muestra una realidad verdadera de lo que puede llegar a ocurrir en grandes empresas.
