Lately, miniseries have become a great way to spend a good time, where I finish one and start the other, without a doubt I have had surprises, moments of anguish, laughter and despair, as well as episodes that are filler. This time a great director with experience and a great path in the world of cinema, worked on a miniseries titled The Fall of the House of Usher, demonstrating that his horror productions are a great wonder, which has raised a lot of view on the Netflix platform, allowing it to achieve success. Being a miniseries that I found interesting and see a great mystery in the Usher family.

Últimamente, las miniseries se han convertido en una gran manera de pasar un buen tiempo, donde termino una y comienzo la otra, sin duda me he llevado sorpresas, momentos de angustia, risas y desesperación, como también episodios que son relleno. Esta vez un gran director con experiencia y un gran camino en el mundo del cine, trabajo en una miniserie titulada La caída de la casa Usher, demostrasen que sus producciones de terror son una gran maravilla, la cual ha recaudado una gran cantidad de vista en dicha plataforma de Netflix, permitiendo así lograr éxito. Siendo una miniserie que me pareció interesante y ver un gran misterio en la familia Usher.

A miniseries that has a total of 8 episodes, however, for being a single mystery and a single family, I think that with only six or less episodes would be great and thus keep viewers attentive, since with 8 they give a lot of twist to the situation. However, a miniseries that was adapted from a great literary work, which was given a touch and thus be able to relive it, which leads us to wonder, will it be attractive again, and from there begins this great adventure, plus that touch of first person narration is unique. It should be noted that not always the adaptations of novels turn out to be very good, and it has already happened to me with several productions I have seen.

A miniseries that from the beginning shows us deaths, where one remains very thoughtful and the important thing about miniseries is to feel that connection and to be able to gradually discover the facts of the plot. However, I spent the first episode as if nothing and by the second episode things were taking another pace, all in order to see a unique, senseless and very unpleasant lifestyle of the rich and even more of a family with a very well known name. Although the miniseries has a story of adaptation, beyond that, more could be given.

Una miniserie que cuenta con un total de 8 episodios, sin embargo, por ser un solo misterio y una sola familia, pienso que con solo seis o menos episodios fuera de maravilla y de esa manera mantener a los espectadores atentos, puesto que con 8 le dan mucha vuelta a la situación. Sin embargo, una miniserie que fue adaptada de una gran obra literaria, la cual le dieron un toque y de esa manera poder revivirla, la cual nos lleva a preguntarnos ¿Será nuevamente atractiva?, y a partir de allí comienza esta gran aventura, además ese toque de la narración en primera persona es único. Cabe de destacar que no siempre las adaptaciones de novelas resultan ser muy buenas, y ya me ha pasado con varias producciones que he visto.

Una miniserie que desde que empieza nos va mostrando muertes, donde uno se queda muy pensativo y lo importante de las miniseries es poder sentir esa conexión y poder ir descubriendo poco a poco los hechos de la trama. Sin embargo, pase el primer episodio como si nada y ya para el segundo las coas fueron tomando otro ritmo, todo sea con el fin de poder ver un estilo de vida único, sin sentido y muy desagradable de los ricos y más aún de una familia con trayecto y un apellido muy reconocido. A pesar de que la miniserie cuenta con una historia de la adaptación, más allá de eso se podía dar más.

During the 8 episodes a conflict is developing that is not taking a good path, which we get to wonder what will happen to this family, where certain consequences lead to certain decisions that one is shocked, also the presence of each of the characters with their arrogant, selfish personality, do not go well with the series, since they go beyond and shows that everyone can do whatever he wants and there is no teamwork, everything is a family full of secrecy, resentment, betrayal and this is where the great name of the fall of the Ushers comes from.

One of the aspects that I managed to detail and I liked that psychological terror that are generated and managed to involve in this miniseries, starting from the protagonist to the last characters of the same, highlighting that terror in the fate of the family and play with the mind of the human being, since no one would be prepared for that, also as they go through the episodes you notice a change of pace that allows to create that suspense and see who will be the next victim, creating a great tension in that miniseries. Where that part took too long to be seen in the production and it can happen that many viewers stop watching it.

Durante los 8 episodios se va desarrollando un conflicto que no va tomando un camino nada bueno, la cual nos llegamos preguntarnos ¿Qué pasara con dicha familia?, donde ciertas consecuencias llevan a tomar ciertas decisiones que uno se queda impactado, además la presencian de cada uno de los personajes con su personalidad arrogante, egoísta, no van nada bien con la serie, puesto que se van más allá y demuestra que cada uno puede hacer lo que quiera y no existe ese trabajo en equipo, todo sea una familia llena de secreto, rencor, traiciones y es aquí donde proviene ese gran nombre de la caída de los Usher.

Uno de los aspectos que logre detallar y me gusto ese terror psicológico que se van generando y lograron involucrar en esta miniserie, comenzando desde el protagonista hasta los últimos personajes de la misma, destacando ese terror en el destino de la familia y jugar con la mente del ser humano, ya que nadie estaría preparado para eso, además a medida que van pasando los episodios se nota un cambio de ritmo que permite crear ese suspenso y ver quien será la próxima víctima, creando una gran tensión en dicha miniserie. Donde esa parte se tardó demasiado en ser vista en la producción y puede pasar que muchos espectadores la dejan de ver.

A miniseries that is loaded with great actors who each bring a lot of value and thus to represent every moment of tension, fear in that family. Bruce Greenwood, I do not expect to see him here in this production, however, I liked how he stood out and was one of the best for me, for his way of being when facing all that madness. Also, seeing Carla Gugino, where she does very well with her role, who exerts a dark, sexy personality, throughout the entire miniseries being of great import. As for the effects of this production are good, they are not great, since the same thing is always appreciated, that dark side.

Una miniserie que está carga de grandes actores muy buenos que cada uno aporta mucho valor y así poder representar cada momento de tensión, miedo en dicha familia. Bruce Greenwood, no me espero verlo por aquí es esta producción, sin embargo, me gusto como se destacó y fue uno de los mejores para mí, por su forma de ser a la hora de enfrentar toda esa locura. Además, ver a Carla Gugino, donde lo hace muy bien con su papel, quien ejerce una personalidad oscura, sexy, a lo largo de todo la miniserie siendo de gran importada. En cuando a los efectos de esta producción son buenos, no son la gran cosa, puesto que siempre se aprecia lo mismo, ese lado oscuro.

They achieved the goal with each of the episodes and that ending, it was a miniseries that I liked, interesting and above all to see something different in terms of the horror genre, although it extends too much to give an end to each death to the family. Also, it shows how family, madness and death can be the worst enemy. So folks, if you want to watch a miniseries, I recommend it.

Lograron el objetivo con cada uno de los episodios y ese final, fue una miniserie que me gusto, interesante y sobre todo ver algo distinto en cuanto al género de terror, a pesar de que se extiende demasiado para darle un fin a cada muerte a dicha familia. Además, se aprecia como la familia, la locura y la muerte, pueden ser el peor enemigo. Así que amigos, si quieres ver una miniserie, te la recomiendo.
