Can't say I've watched many zombie films, but I did watch the first four seasons of The Walking Dead as my last beau was a big fan.

I have no idea why I love them so much. I think it's because I like to imagine how I'd survive, and the chance for the world to be made anew. I'm not a fan of, say, The Evil Dead - but more the survivalist ones, and how a zombie invasion can be a metaphor for social ills.

I watched The Walking Dead for a while, then it got tedious. They just kept looking for more plotlines.

I agree. The first few seasons were good, but they should have cut it before it became boring.
