Leonidas was one of the kings of the Spartans! a warriors' nation who fought against Persians invasion. In the "300" movie, Leonidas was interpreted by Gerald Butler, the movie was based in a Frank Miller's comic book, and it's about the Thermopylae glorious battle, where a bunch of 300 elite Spartans fought defending a small pass against a horde of Persians.
