Going to the cinema to see Barbie

Hoy por fin me animé a ver Barbie así que fui al cine con mi novia, el cine estaba extrañamente vacío pero no le di importancia, a lo que si le di mucha importancia fue al hecho de que la sala de cine también estuvo vacía durante la función, se que ya la película tiene un par de semanas en cartelera pero me suponía que iba a haber mas personas ya que los lunes las entradas son a mitad de precio y siempre hay que llegar temprano para poder adquirir los asientos mas decentes. Estoy consciente de que fue un boom cuando salió en carteleras y que todo el mundo fanático de las tendencias la fue a ver al momento pero, yo suelo esperar un poco antes de ir a ver las películas ya que así me fijo un poco de la critica y voy al cine con las expectativas un poco altas o bajas, en esta ocasión quedé gratamente sorprendido y hasta podría considerar verla otra vez en el futuro.

Today I finally got up the courage to see Barbie so I went to the movies with my girlfriend, the theater was strangely empty but I didn't give it any importance, what I did give a lot of importance to was the fact that the movie theater was also empty during the function, I know that the movie has already been on the billboard for a couple of weeks but I was supposed to have more people since on Mondays the tickets are half price and you always have to arrive early to be able to get the most decent seats. I am aware that it was a boom when it came out on the billboards and that everyone who was a fan of trends went to see it right away, but I usually wait a bit before going to see the movies, since that's how I get a little bit of criticism. and I go to the cinema with a little high or low expectations, this time I was pleasantly surprised and I might even consider watching it again in the future.

volviendo a la película, me pareció muy interesante su transfondo y creo haber entendido el mensaje que la película intentó abordar, claro, todo “camuflado” con chistes y una estética que me pareció realmente cautivadora, debo admitir que disfruté toda la película y en ningún momento me pareció aburrida, recomiendo mucho verla porque aunque no se logre captar el mensaje que intenta transmitir sigue siendo una película muy entretenida ideal para ver con amigos y disfrutar de un buen rato, así que si no la has visto o tienes pensado verla, no lo pienses mas y ve a tu cine mas cercano te aseguro que las casi 2 horas de duración de la misma se pasan muy rápido de lo divertida que resulta ser.

Going back to the movie, I found its background very interesting and I think I understood the message that the movie tried to address, of course, all "camouflaged" with jokes and an aesthetic that I found really captivating, I must admit that I enjoyed the whole movie and in no way I found it boring at the moment, I highly recommend seeing it because even if the message it tries to convey is not captured, it is still a very entertaining film, ideal to watch with friends and enjoy a good time, so if you have not seen it or plan to see it, don't think about it more and go to your nearest cinema, I assure you that the almost 2 hours of it go by very quickly because of how much fun it turns out to be.
