Weekend engagement 192: Sedentary weekends.

For me, weekends are days of tranquility in the midst of the busy pace of the week, a few days to disconnect from obligations, where time expands and the mind frees itself, it is in this space where I take refuge in the world of cinema, enjoying film marathons that transport me to other realities.

The search for the perfect movies begins days before during the week, I spend hours browsing the internet, reading reviews and opinions, looking for that movie that captivates me, I am a somewhat basic viewer and I rarely take risks with poorly rated movies, I prefer to go to the sure thing to those stories that have captivated critics and the public.

When the weekend arrives, I settle into my favorite corner, with a mountain of snacks and a refreshing Coca-Cola, the room becomes my private movie room, I rarely go out during those days.

I am aware that my sedentary lifestyle is not ideal, in the past, my weekends were more active, filled with outdoor activities, however, now that time seems to give me much less, I choose to dedicate my free hours to the passion I like: cinema.
