UPGRADED || A must-watch romantic comedy movie
Hello fellow movie lovers!
It's been a while since I've watched an American romantic comedy, and I recently stumbled upon one that really caught my attention. It all started with a social media post about a clip from a romantic comedy. I immediately searched YouTube and found it. Since I had some free time, I watched it right away, and I absolutely loved it.
This movie tells the love story of an American girl named Anna and a British man named Will. The story begins when Anna is suddenly asked by her boss to be one of her assistants and requires her to go to England with her boss and two other assistants. Because the flight tickets taken were full, one of her colleagues booked an economy ticket for Anna on the next flight. However, the check-in officer upgraded Anna's flight ticket to first class. Although she had to wait several hours, Anna was happy because this was her first time in her life going to England and also her first time flying first class. While waiting, Anna enjoyed the facilities provided in the first class lounge. There she accidentally bumped into a man and soiled his pants. This was the beginning of their love story because by chance they sat next to each other on the plane. During the plane they chatted, but Anna lied that she was a director at an art auction company. In other words, she pretended to be his boss. Anna just wanted to experience life as someone else that day and she lied to Will because she thought they would never meet again. But fate had other plans, their relationship developed and Anna was even invited to Will's mother's birthday party. Everything was going smoothly, Anna was dating Will. Until one day, her lie was discovered by her boss, and Anna was fired. Not only was she fired by her boss, but Will was also disappointed in her. So, how does their story continue? Why should you watch this movie?
Besides the compelling story, the main factor is the cast. Anna is played by Camila Mendes, known for her roles in several American films and series. I've loved her since her role in The Riverdale. The male lead is played by Archie Renaux, who has also had numerous roles in films and series.
