In the last two years I have dressed up as a costume from the film Ocean's 8, around 10 times. This film is a spin-off of the trilogy started in 2001 with Ocean's Eleven, this time led by female characters. This installment premiered in the United States in 2018 and was written and directed by Gary Ross.

This story tells how Debbie Ocean, a professional con artist, is released from prison after five years of confinement, together with her faithful friend Lou, she plans a legendary robbery of more than 150 million dollars in jewelry. To do this, he recruits Nine Ball, a jacker, Amita, a jewelry expert, Constance, a first-class pickpocket, Rose, a bankrupt and out-of-fashion costume designer, and Tammy, another thief who appears to be a decent family mother. They also involve, without her knowing, Daphne Kluger, who is going to be the wearer of the necklace that is going to be stolen at the Met Gala. But theft is not Debbie's only motive. In addition to the excellent plot, this film has a cast A-list: Sandra Bullock (Debbie Ocean), Cate Blanchett (Lou), Anne Hathaway (Daphne Kluger), Mindy Kaling (Amita), Sarah Paulson (Tammy), Rihanna (Nine Ball), Helena Bonham Carter (Rose Wiel), Awkwafina (Constance), Dakota Fanning (Penelope Stern), Richard Armitage (Claude Becker), James Corden (John Frazier), Elliot Gould (Reuben Tishkoff), and Qin Shaobo (Yen). The soundtrack with songs in French was another of the strong points of this installment.
