Hello movie buff friends, today I'm telling you another gem of cinema, this time it is a quite disturbing movie, since it is based on real events, what happened to these three young people is really a challenge, although the best thing is that they managed to survive.

It all begins in the Second World War, two soldiers and a general are piloting a plane, when they suddenly run out of fuel, the captain notifies them of their condition by sending the coordinates for their rescue. The ship ends up sinking into the sea, and the three manage to get out in time to avoid drowning.
They open a rescue raft and get on to wait for the arrival of another plane.

The next morning the three are talking when they hear the sound of a plane flying above them, they make many signs and shouts but it does not see them because unfortunately they are located against the sun, and the rescue leaves.
Harold the general tells them that that was their only alternative, now what remains was to survive. Everyone takes out what they have on them, they realize that there was no water or food. Pastula, one of the soldiers takes out a weapon, telling them that it could be useful to them later.
This is how the day passes, when night comes they take turns sleeping, while two of them stand guard watching over a plane for rescue. Harold thirstily drinks his urine, which the others do not approve of, calling him repulsive.
In the morning, seeing that no one is looking for them and also that they are hungry, Pastula decides to make a hook to try to catch fish, but it is devoured by a larger fish, scared by what is beneath them. It was already the 5th day of being without water or food, when Harold found a small pencil and happily drew a map guided by the coordinates he gave when they went to the sea. Hopefully, he realized that they were near an island and invented something to guide them in that direction.
At night a miracle happens, it starts to rain, everyone excitedly collects the precious liquid with the help of bags.

The next morning, Aldric, the other boy, continues trying to fish but without results, he takes out a knife and begins to stab the water in the hope of catching some fish. At that moment, he injures a baby shark, which they put on the raft, killing it to feed on it. Hours later they are happy cleaning up all the spilled blood when they realize that they are surrounded by sharks, and they are upset, so they stay calm. At night, Aldric, thinking that there was no danger, was soaking his hands when a shark bites one of them. They quickly heal him by bandaging his hand with some clothing.
This is how the days go by, there are now 15, they are again without food, Aldric tries again with his knife, but this time the only thing he sees are adult sharks, although he shoots a pelican, this being his next meal.
Time passes and at one point they begin to argue, when Harold confesses that it is all his fault, since he fell asleep in the air, apologizing through tears.
Another week passes when a storm hits them, capsizing the raft and throwing them into the water, desperate again they reunite, emerging from the situation unharmed. The days continue to pass, it's been a month now and they are trying to survive almost without strength.

Aldric suddenly sees land and thinking it is a hallucination calls his companions, but when he sees that it is real his strength returns and he rows with his hands to arrive quickly. When they reached the shore, the three of them walked together to look for help.
Then they tell us that Harold was given a medal for saving his team, although he was removed from the militia for causing what happened. Pastula was also discharged due to injuries sustained during the journey. Aldric married Pastula's sister who ended up as best friends.
And that's it for this summary, I hope you liked it.I can tell you that I liked it a lot, just imagining a situation like that, my skin gets goosebumps, it's really horrible to see yourself like this and not lose hope, these guys didn't do it, in my opinion that was what always kept them fighting, the desire to live and reach land.

Hola amigos cinéfilos, hoy les cuento otra joya del cine, esta vez es una película bastante inquietante, ya que está basada en hechos reales, lo que les ocurrió a estos tres jóvenes es realmente un desafío, aunque lo mejor es que lograron sobrevivir.

Todo comienza en la segunda guerra mundial, dos soldados y un general pilotean un avión, cuando de repente se quedan sin combustible, el capitán avisa de su estado mandando las coordenadas para su rescate. La nave termina undiwndose en el mar, y los tres consiguen salir a tiempo para no ahogarse.
Abren una balsa de rescate y se suben a esperar la llegada de otro avión.

A la mañana siguiente estan los tres conversando cuando escuchan el sonido de un avion volando por encima de ellos, hacen muchas señales y gritos pero este no los ve porque desgraciadamente estan situados contra el sol, y el rescate se marcha.
Harold el general, les dice que esa era su única alternativa, ahora lo que queda era sobrevivir. Todos sacan lo que tienen encima, se dan cuenta que no había agua ni alimentos. Pastula uno de los soldados saca un arma diciéndoles que mas adelante podría servirles.
Así pasa el día, cuando llega la noche se turnean para dormir, mientras dos de ellos hace guardia velando un avión para su rescate. Harold con sed se toma su orina, cosa que los demás no aprueban llamándolo repulsivo.
Por la mañana al ver que nadie los busca y además ambrientos, a Pastula se le ocurre hacer un anzuelo para intentar pescar, pero este es devorado por un pez mas grande asustandose por lo que hay debajo de ellos. Ya era el 5to día estando sin agua ni comida, cuando Harold encuentra un pequeño lápiz y contento dibuja un mapa guiándose por las coordenadas que dió cuando se calleron al mar, esperanzados se da cuenta que estan cerca de una isla e inventan algo para que los guíe hacia esa dirección.

En la noche ocurre un milagro, comienza a llover, todos emocionados recogen el preciado líquido con ayuda de bolsas.
A la mañana siguiente Aldric el otro chico continúa intentando pescar pero sin resultados saca una navaja y comienza a apuñalar el agua con la esperanza de agarrar algun pes, en ese momento hiere a un tiburón bebe el cual lo suben a la balsa matándolo para alimentarse de él. Horas después están contentos limpiando toda la sangre derramada cuando se percatan que estan rodeados de tiburones, y están molestos, por lo que se quedan bien tranquilos. Por la noche Aldric pensando que no había peligro estaba remojando sus manos cuando un tiburón le muerde una de ellas, rápidamente lo curan bendandole la mano con algo de ropa.
Así transcurren los días, ya son 15, de nuevo estan sin alimentos, Aldric intenta nuevamente con su navaja, pero esta vez lo único que ve son tiburones adultos, aunque le dispara a un pelícano, siendo esto su próximo alimento.
Pasa el tiempo y en un momento comienzan a discutir, cuando Harold confiesa que todo es culpa suya, ya que se quedó dormido en el aire, pidiendoles disculpa entre lágrimas.
Pasa otra semana cuando los alcanza una tormenta volcando la balsa y lanzandolos al agua, desesperados nuevamente se reunen saliendo ilesos de la situación. Continuan pasando los días, ya van por un mes y casi sin fuerzas tratan de sobrevivir.

Aldric de repente ve tierra y pensando que es una alucinación llama a sus compañeros, pero al ver que es real vuelven las fuerzas y reman con las manos para llegar pronto. Al llegar a la orilla salieron caminando los tres juntos para buscar ayuda.
Luego nos cuentan que Harold le dieron una medalla por salvar a su equipo, aunque fue removido de la milicia por ocasinar lo ocurrido. Pastula también fue dado de baja debido a las heridas ocasionadas en el trayecto. Aldric se casó con la hermana de Pastula quienes terminaron como mejores amigos.
Y hasta aquí este resumen, espero que les haya gustado. Yo les puedo decir que a mi me gustó mucho, nada mas imaginar una situación así, la piel se me pone de gallina, es realmente horrible verse asi y no perder las esperanzas, estos chicos no lo hicieron, a mi parecer eso fue lo que los mantuvo siempre luchando, el deseo de vivir y llegar a tierra.
