Soy un apasionado seguidor del icónico superhéroe Batman desde mi infancia, mas no suelo ver dibujos animados con frecuencia sin embargo decidí sumergirme en el mundo de las películas animadas que exploran las hazañas del Caballero Oscuro. Después de la decepción que experimenté con la última entrega cinematográfica protagonizada por Robert Pattinson, decidí buscar otras opciones que involucraran a este enigmático héroe. Después de ver un par de películas animadas como Batman: Under the Red Hood y Batman: The killing Joke, películas que pasaron sin pena ni gloria por mi pantalla y por lo tanto no las pienso reseñar di con esta sorpresa al darle ¨Play¨. Fue así como me encontré con "Batman: Assault on Arkham" y, para mi sorpresa, quedé cautivado desde el principio.
I have been a passionate fan of the iconic superhero Batman since my childhood, and therefore decided to dive into the world of animated films exploring the exploits of the Dark Knight. After the disappointment I experienced with the last film installment starring Robert Pattinson, I decided to look for other options involving this enigmatic hero. After watching a couple of animated films such as Batman: Under the Red Hood and Batman: The killing Joke, movies that passed through my screen with neither pain nor glory and therefore I will not review them, I came across this surprise when I gave it ¨Play¨. That's how I came across "Batman: Assault on Arkham" and, to my surprise, I was captivated from the beginning.
"Batman: Assault on Arkham" es una película animada que se centra en el infame grupo de villanos conocido como el Comando Suicida, o Suicide Squad. Me parece curioso que el título sea Batman cuando en realidad no es el protagonista, quizá por tema de marketing decidieron evitar nombrar al comando suicida. Desde el primer momento, quedé impresionado por el estilo de animación, los dibujos se ven bastante modernos y agresivos cosa que me gusto mucho. La trama y la historia, además, resultaron ser apasionantes y llenas de giros inesperados.
"Batman: Assault on Arkham" is an animated film that focuses on the infamous group of villains known as the Suicide Squad, or Suicide Squad. I find it curious that the title is Batman when he is not actually the protagonist, perhaps for marketing purposes they decided to avoid naming Suicide Squad. From the first moment, I was impressed by the animation style, the drawings look quite modern and aggressive, which I liked a lot. The plot and story also turned out to be exciting and full of unexpected twists and turns.
Además de la trama intrigante, "Batman: Assault on Arkham" cuenta con una animación impecable. Los detalles en los escenarios y en los movimientos de los personajes son llamativos con un aire a anime de los 90s. El diseño de los personajes también merece mención aparte, ya que se ha logrado capturar a la perfección su esencia, especialmente en el caso del Joker. Su representación es escalofriante y cautivadora al mismo tiempo, mostrando su lado más aterrador y psicópata.
La película también ofrece una buena dosis de acción trepidante y ciertos giros impactantes que no comento a detalle para evitar spoilers.
Para ser una película animada y de género acción debo recomendarla pues es entretenida como adulto que disfruta de superhéroes y antihéroes como deadpool por mencionar un ejemplo esta película vale la pena mirarla en un rato de tiempo libre.
In addition to the intriguing plot, "Batman: Assault on Arkham" features impeccable animation. The details in the scenery and character movements are striking with a 90s anime feel. The design of the characters also deserves a special mention, as it has managed to perfectly capture their essence, especially in the case of the Joker. His portrayal is chilling and captivating at the same time, showing his most terrifying and psychopathic side.
The film also offers a good dose of fast-paced action and some shocking twists that I will not comment in detail to avoid spoilers.
For an animated movie and action genre I must recommend it as it is entertaining as an adult who enjoys superheroes and antiheroes like deadpool to mention an example, this movie is worth watching in some free time.

Batman no pasa de moda, aunque deje de ver las películas y animaciones hace tiempo. No vi la que te decepcionó. Me mantengo al margen de mucho de eso.
Cuando uno sabe que una película tiene mala pinta o la evita o la ve por curioso. Haces bien jeje. Pero es curioso como hasta en las películas animadas cada una te da una versión y estilo distinto del héroe.
