The K-drama “Would You Marry Me” (also known as Amor de Mentira in Latin America) is a comedy with a romantic twist, which revolves around a couple who reach an agreement and sign a contract in order to receive the prize of a luxurious house.
The story stars Yoo Me-ri, who plays a great designer who is going through a difficult time with her current partner, or rather her fiancé, who is cheating on her with a co-worker. To make matters worse, Me-ri is the victim of a scam by a real estate agency that leaves her in debt and homeless. Faced with these events, she falls into a state of despair and mental imbalance.

Me-ri sees no other alternative and proposes a deal: even though they are barely getting to know each other, she asks him to help her pretend to be a happy married couple for 90 days to fool the store inspectors.
This is where the series develops its comical and tender moments, as the episodes and situations progress and the couple begins to feel affection for each other.
The plot thickens when Me-ri's ex-boyfriend reappears, threatening to expose their secret, along with other family and work entanglements, all in revenge for Me-ri no longer loving him.
The drama is very interesting and reflects something of many previous K-dramas, namely the lack of loyalty that exists in the family and the falseness of some people of a certain generation, everything they are willing to do for money, but it also reflects that the truth will always come out sooner or later.
Me-ri no encuentra otra alternativa y le propone un trato: a pesar de que apenas se estaban conociendo , le dice para que la ayude a fingir ser un matrimonio feliz durante 90 días para engañar a los inspectores de la tienda.
Aquí es que se desarrolla la serie en la parte cómica y momentos tiernos, a medida que avanzan los capítulos y las situaciones la pareja va sintiendo afecto el uno por el otro.
La trama se complica cuando de nuevo aparece el exnovio de Me-ri, quien amenaza con exponer su secreto, y otros enredos familiares y laborales, todo por venganza de que me-ri ya no lo quería.
