Greetings, friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend with your families. I recently went to the movies, and to be honest, I wasn't really excited about any of the films currently showing. I'm really looking forward to some good ones coming out, like Avatar, but I still have to wait.

I was feeling a little bored, and since I live near a major shopping center in my city that has a movie theater, I decided to go, but first I looked to see what was playing. That's how I saw that the movie “Black Phone 2” was playing. It just came out, and I thought it was a good idea since I saw the first movie and knew the story, and I was really interested in seeing what this suspenseful horror movie had to offer. Many things changed in this sequel, and I didn't dislike it, quite the contrary. Although the movie is not based on real events, it may be somewhat inspired by them, as we know the evil that exists on earth.

This film is about a man who was a serial killer and also a sadist. The first film was good and was released in 2021, and I must confess that it had an impact on me, as it revolves around the disappearance of children and their cruel murders at the hands of a ruthless man wearing a terrifying mask. The thing is, if you saw the first installment, don't miss this one, as it moves into something more supernatural. Of course, when we talk about something like this, we expect to see many things that don't happen in reality, but it's interesting to see how this horrible and evil being evolved and how even after death, his evilness stalks in a terrible way that I find even more terrifying.

There are things that may be predictable, but there are some new things that I really liked. As a good horror fan, I enjoyed it. Don't expect too much because, as we know, it's normal for things to happen that are similar to other supernatural horror movies, but there are several things that entertained me and made me feel like I didn't waste my money at the cinema.

I also liked that the little boy who survived the first movie has grown up and is more mature, and that the focus isn't just on him, but that other children are also given a chance in this installment. There are a couple of familiar faces in the film, and based on the ending, I feel like there will be a third installment, which I will definitely go see. As I always mention, my writing is not usually intended to provide a summary or retell the film, but rather to share my impressions and other thoughts about it in order to spark your interest and encourage you to go see it. Blessings.

Note that I saw the first one and it scared me quite a bit, honestly. Ethan Hawke as the villain was brutal. I haven't seen this second one, and you left me intrigued about what you say about him becoming "more supernatural" and that the guy's evil is still there even after he dies. Sometimes when the sequels go that way, they kind of damage it, but if you say that it entertained you and that it has new things, I believe you.

I like the way you give your impressions without making any spoilers. I watched the first movie but I'm not too conviced about this one so I wanna ask you: which one did you like the most?
