A Creek, A Phone, A Sticky Lens, and a Digicam
Water, water, everywhere, and not a drop to drink. And hopefully no brain eating amoebas.
My child can float, but I sink like a stone.
In February of 2017, I took the kids to a local swimming hole. Yes, in February, because it's Florida. Here are a few shots of what that looked like:
Anywho, they have been bugging me all summer to take them back. The problem was, I couldn't remember for the life of me where it was. "You know, that place with water." I knew the state forest, just not the specific spot on the river.
After much harassment, I finally relented and took them to what I thought might be the correct swimming hole. Turns out I was wrong. But it didn't matter, a good time was still had by all.
I decided to get a few shots with the "new" sticky apertured Konica. I suppose they came out ok. I wish the focus was better, but who can complain when depth of field is such a hit or miss?

And now the center is in focus... All over place...
Of course, it also gave me an opportunity to play with my Fujifilm Xp120 waterproof digicam. I rather like some of these shots:

After doing some searching, I think I have figured out exactly where that original swimming hole is located. Perhaps I'll take them back this February.... because Florida.
