All The Pinballs!
Another camera, another roll of Kodak 200, and a million pinballs!
This past weekend I decided to try out the Kodak 200 at the Southern Fried Gaming Expo in Atlanta, GA. It was a dark room, but I used my DSLR to meter, and I think I did alright considering the challenge.
I have never seen so many pinball machines. Nor have I ever seen so many retro arcade games. It made a great testing ground for color film.
Unfortunately since it was so dark my shutter speeds had to be anywhere from 1/25th to 1/60th. This led to a bit of blur in most of the shots. Damn my shaking hands!
Of course we ran a booth selling our handcrafts, and we were set up next to some Japanese slot machines. Let's just say it gets a bit old listening to screaming Japanese anime characters... But they do make for interesting colors.
Probably the only properly exposed frame was one I took in the hotel. Oh well. I liked the geometry.
Stay tuned for the final four frames, taken at my favorite local cemetery (morbid I know). And eventually some shots taken on Cinestill 800T with the Frau! Once I finally finish the roll....
