One Day at A Bar

After a long day at market it's always great to get a beer.

Interesting fact about the Contessa, I thought the shutter got stuck on slower shutter speeds. Turns out maybe I'm wrong? Since I was using expired 400 ISO I decided to try a slow shutter speed in this darkened bar. I realized my "error" and flipped the camera towards me to see if the shutter was still open.

I thought it was, so I took two more shots (the top pic being the last and best, at a "fast" speed of 1/50th). It wasn't until I developed the roll that I discovered long exposures, but not nearly as long as I expected. I expected solid white masses of wayyyy overexposed nonsense. What I got was light streaks similar to some of my digital work.

So... Maybe there's an experiment waiting to happen on this next roll?

Film: Kodak Gold 400 expired who knows when
Developed in Cinestill C-41 because I'm not a savage with color film.
