So I Finally Saw Backrooms (quick review no spoilers)

I was very excited about this film.
The TLDR; is
I was kind of disappointed, but I still thought it was worth watching.
The cinematography and production quality is the real star of this film.
And no suprrise: they built massive real-world sets:

The Movie's Director: Kane Parsons; A 21 year old "Youtuber"

Both Backrooms and Obsession are the break-out hit box-office films of 2026, and both films have young directors who found success on Youtube.
Before this you had Talk To Me & Bring Her Back both made by a pair of Australian brothers who had a massive Youtube channel.
All are horror movies, btw. I've seen each one besides Obsession, and it's the movie I'm most excited to see.
I watch movies online through free streaming websites because I'm not going to the movies alone, and I unfortunately don't have much of a social life aymore.
Now let me recommend THREE movies that I absolutely think you should see:

Carolina Caroline
A Southern-Gothic criminal-thriller-drama-lovestory.
This movie rules. Kyle Gallner is easily one of my favorite actors working right now, and Samara Weaving is also very talent & very beautiful.
All three of my recommended movies are directed by Adam Carter Rehmeier

Dinner In America
Kyle Galner again stars, and this is a very quirky comedy/music movie.
Very offensive, very quirky, and very good.

Snack Shack
This movie is semi-autobiographical, and based on Rehmeier's youth working at pool concession's stand in the midwest. It takes place in 1991, and it's a coming of age comedy/drama.
It gets pretty solemn by the end, but this was just a great film.
I feel like we don't get films like these anymore.
