Marry Me//Movie Review

Well! Last week was a movie watch-show for me, and among the movies I watched, I found this one interesting with a lot of lessons to grab. I'm not the movie type but if I come across a movie like this, I do watch it repeatedly, the movie is titled "marry me". I know you're wondering who's proposing, I also wondered when I saw the movie title.

The movie Marry me is a movie about love, betrayal, fate, sacrifice, and learning. It talks about strange places we could find love, usually not the fanciest places we expected. Kat Valdez and Bastian had hosted a live concert, a day Bastian had hoped to propose to Kat with the song "Marry me" but turned out to be a lucky day for Charlie, a maths teacher who happened to be in that venue. That night while in the concert, Kat Valdez saw an online video of Bastian having an affair with another girl and out of anger and confusion on what to do as he chose Charlie from the crowd and said yes.

Kat Valdez was a celebrity who was always busy with schedules, she filmed her daily activities and was active on social media, a personality totally different from that of Charlie who was a single dad and living a simple life away from social media. Kat Valdez had planned her relationship would last just a few months with Charlie before they broke up but fate had something in-store for them both.

Kat Valdez' fans became curious why she picked up a random guy all of a sudden for marriage. They wanted to know and interview the both of them if they believed such a relationship with no prior knowledge about each other would work. To her shock and that of her manager, the section went well with the perfect answers to every question, they seem to have spoken from an honest point and as couples. Gradually, Charlie and Kat started having more time but Kat never gave up on her celebrity lifestyle, filming everything that happens in her day and sharing on social media.

Kat had been married to 2 men in the past but things didn't work out for her, and she was afraid of making another mistake. Charlie on the other hand didn't feel he was worthy of Kat's love, not because he wasn't caring but because he felt much older and not on the same financial level with her. All he did was make her feel comfortable with the hope that someday she would meet someone better, or maybe give Bastian a second chance. Soon Kat started to feel comfortable around Charlie and vice versa. Charlie introduced Kat to his students and his daughter who have stage fright, and soon she gave them her way of coping whenever she's tensed

Charlie and Kat challenged each other to learn a new habit, Kat from staying off her daily posting and filming, and doing everything herself while Charlie learns to use social media. They became closer and soon Kat wrote a song about "Him" how every heartbreak she had was roses which only led her to him. Charlie who felt unworthy to have her left her after some time for Bastian but it was too late, she was in love with him already and Charlie himself couldn't think her out of his head.

What happened at the end will surprise you. It's a movie worth watching, I recommend it to you and challenge you if you wouldn't change your ideology of where to find love.
