Hoy les traigo mi opinión sobre una serie que recién acabé de ver en casa, un material que disfruté, se puede decir que bastante, a pesar de que es un género que no es que me llame mucho la atención que digamos. Pero la calidad visual de este material audiovisual, que, combinado con un excelente guion y el casting al detalle que le dio vida a la historia, vuelve a la serie "IT: Welcome to Derry" prácticamente una cita obligatoria con el arte del cine de terror.
Estrenada por la plataforma de streaming HBO max, este 2025 próximo a concluir, y sin temor a equivocarme, pudiera decir que es lo mejor, en cuanto a series, de lo que he podido ver en todo el año. A veces, me pregunto cómo hubiera sido primero ver las películas de "El Hobbit", o la precuela de esta mágica historia que nos muestra un mundo donde interactúan entre sí elfos, enanos, orcos, hombres de la Edad Media, entre otras criaturas, antes del desenlace de las tres ediciones de "El señor de los anillos". La verdad es que no se hace ver, pero son cositas que, como fan de esta saga, me hubiera gustado experimentar.
Volviendo a la serie "IT: Welcome to Derry", este material que finalizó no hace mucho su primera temporada, con una entrega de ocho episodios, nos sumerge en los orígenes de Pennywise. Este payaso terrorífico y devorador de almas, que todos estaríamos de acuerdo en afirmar que sí se robó el show en esta historia maldita de la ciudad de Derry.
