Nuevamente por acá feliz de seguir vivo y con ustedes. Aunque no tan feliz pero no es la historia que hoy les vengo a contar. Hace una semana cuando empecé a ver FUBAR la serie de Arnol, había visto un post del amigo @roadstories que me llamó mucho la atención y lo mantuve a la vista para cuando tuviera el tiempo poder verla y de esa misma poder seguir conversando con ustedes de las respectivas series que he venido observando en las cadenas de streaming. Después de exitosas producciones cómo: Club Estambul o "Un lugar secreto" llega a las pantallas de Netflix la nueva producción turca llamada "De quien huimos, mamá"
Here again, happy to be alive and with you. Although not so happy but that's not the story I'm here to tell you today. A week ago when I started watching FUBAR, Arnol's series, I had seen a post from my friend @roadstories that caught my attention and I kept it in my sight so that when I had the time I could watch it and thus continue talking with you about the respective series that I have been watching on the streaming networks. After successful productions such as: Club Istanbul or "A Secret Place" arrives to the screens of Netflix the new Turkish production called "From Whom We Flee, Mom".
Esta nueva e impactante serie de suspenso nos relata una interesante historia de una madre y su hija. Ambas, viven en una interminable fuga por lo que confiar en alguien, es totalmente inaceptable. Esta pareja de fugitiva viven de ciudad en ciudad, de hoteles a hoteles huyendo ambas de un pasado que las persigue. Manteniéndose en movimiento la madre y la hija logran escurrirse de la policía y de todo aquel que tenga alguna sospecha de ellas. Pero cuando la historia se torna un poco más complicada, la hija logra percibir que la historia no siempre será como los cuentos de hadas que su madre le solía contar.
This new and shocking suspense series tells us an interesting story of a mother and her daughter. Both of them live in a never-ending fugue, so trusting someone is totally unacceptable. This fugitive couple lives from city to city, from hotels to hotels, fleeing from a past that haunts them. Keeping on the move, the mother and daughter manage to slip away from the police and anyone who suspects them. But when the story gets a little more complicated, the daughter realizes that the story will not always be like the fairy tales her mother used to tell her.
La serie cuenta con siete capítulos de aproximadamente una hora. Una serie fácilmente para maratonear si dispones del tiempo suficiente. La trama está basada en la novela de Perihan Magden que escribió en el 2007 la que abrió un fuerte debate sobre la postura de la mujer en Turquía. Pero lo que invita a maratonear esta serie es que en cada capítulo dejando huellas y posiblemente, algún cadáver. La historia sin duda que va dejando claro lo amoroso, lo leal y lo opresivo que puede llegar hacer un lazo maternal. Un dato curioso de esta pareja de madre e hija es que nunca mencionan su nombre real. Algo que, seguramente, descubriremos en una segunda entrega.
The series has seven chapters of approximately one hour. A series easily to marathon if you have enough time. The plot is based on Perihan Magden's novel she wrote in 2007 which opened a strong debate about the position of women in Turkey. But what invites you to marathon this series is that in each chapter leaving traces and possibly, a corpse. The story undoubtedly makes clear how loving, how loyal and how oppressive a maternal bond can be. A curious fact about this mother and daughter couple is that they never mention their real name. Something that, surely, we will discover in a second installment.
La serie se basa principalmente en la madre e hija en donde encontramos a Melisa Sözen interpretando el papel la madre y a la debutante en las pantallas, la joven modelo Eylül Tumbar como la hija. Ambas en mi opinión, desbordaron en calidad de actuación. La madre demostrando una alocada condición de posesión y al mismo tiempo de protección. Científicamente está comprobado que los niños cuando son maltratados pueden llegar a convertirse un alma muy oscura y esto le ocurrió a la madre, una niña que fue creando ese rencor por sus padres y por los otros dado al maltrato que tuvo de parte de sus padres. Una mujer con mucho miedo, capaz de hacer cualquier cosa por defender a su hija y a su vez, ofreciéndole la madre que ella quiso tener.
The series is mainly based on mother and daughter where we find Melisa Sözen playing the role of the mother and screen debutant, young model Eylül Tumbar as the daughter. Both of them, in my opinion, overflowed in acting quality. The mother demonstrating a crazy condition of possession and at the same time protection. It is scientifically proven that when children are mistreated they can become a very dark soul and this happened to the mother, a girl who was creating this resentment for her parents and for the others due to the mistreatment she had from her parents. A woman with a lot of fear, capable of doing anything to defend her daughter and at the same time, offering her the mother she wanted to have.
En la otra cara tenemos a Eylül Tumbar a quien conoceremos como Bambi en la serie. Una niña que intenta mantener una realidad que ni ella misma entendía. Para ser el debut de esta joven sinceramente se ha ganado mi corazón. Su actuación fue destacable, la manera de manejar tantos sentimientos enredados con todo lo que le ocurría fue impresionante. Sin duda que ha dado un gran salto a las pequeñas pantallas. Esperemos poder verla pronto de las grandes pantallas.
On the other side we have Eylül Tumbar who we will know as Bambi in the series. A girl who tries to maintain a reality that even she did not understand. For this young girl's debut she honestly won my heart. Her performance was outstanding, the way she handled so many feelings entangled with everything that was happening to her was impressive. No doubt she has made a great leap to the small screens. Let's hope to see her on the big screens soon.
I don't mean to spoiler this new Netflix series.
Es una de las mejores series que he visto en lo que va del año. Una increíble trama y me gusta mucho que usa literalmente la metáfora de Bambi. Una serie que te mantiene atrapado en la pantalla para saber que huyen y lo interesante es que en cada capítulo vamos a ir descubriendo un poco más de los traumas de la Madre y porque huía con su hija. Me encantó la narrativa que estaba a cargo de Eylül Tumbar (Bambi) que nos describe como vivía el hecho de sus constantes huías de lo que podría llamar ella, un hogar.
This is one of the best series I have seen so far this year. An incredible plot and I really like that it literally uses the metaphor of Bambi. A series that keeps you trapped in the screen to know that they run away and the interesting thing is that in each chapter we will be discovering a little more of the traumas of the Mother and why she ran away with her daughter. I loved the narrative that was in charge of Eylül Tumbar (Bambi) who describes us how she lived the fact of her constant running away from what she could call her, a home.
Aun la cadena de streaming Netflix no ha dado un anuncio oficial de lo que podría ser una segunda temporada pero de seguro ocurrirá, pues todavía hay muchas dudas que deben contestar como por ejemplo: Los nombres, el padre de Bambi, los diferentes asesinatos que no pudimos presenciar.
Still the streaming network Netflix has not given an official announcement of what could be a second season but for sure it will happen, because there are still many questions to be answered such as: The names, Bambi's father, the different murders that we could not witness.
