Ya se me está llenando la lista y siguen sumándose series bastantes interesantes en este 2026 y son tantas que ya de verdad no sé por dónde empezar pues inicio a ver cualquiera y cuando veo ya tengo 2 nuevas en carteleras y no está mal, pero frenen un momento pues pensaba estar al día con las producciones del presente año pero sinceramente se me está llenando el cuarto ja ja ja literalmente sí ja ja ja… Harry Hole es una serie muy reciente de la gran N roja, otro thrillers nórdico de la casa.

My list is already filling up, and there are still plenty of interesting series being added in 2026. There are so many that I honestly don’t know where to start I just start watching any one, and by the time I’m done, I already have two new ones on my list. It’s not bad, but hold on a second I thought I’d be catching up on this year’s shows, but honestly, my room is filling up, ha ha ha literally, yes, ha ha ha… Harry Hole is a very recent series from the big red N, another Nordic thriller from the network.

Lo que resalta esta nueva producción es la humanidad de muchos personajes, los que parecen estar hechos de cicatrices y alcohol. Harry Hole es uno de ellos. En medio de un Oslo sombrío y bajo la sombra de crímenes y rituales. Esta nueva adaptación de la gran N roja logra capturar esa melancolía violenta que hizo de las novelas un éxito mundial. No es solo una serie de policías; es un descenso a los infiernos pues cada personaje tiene un trasfondo oculto que será de suma importancia para quien disfruta de la historia. La verdad es que hay giros que por momentos nos aleja de lo cotidianos, de ese repetido patrón y es lo que sin duda es el gancho de esta nueva serie policial.

What stands out in this new production is the humanity of many of the characters, who seem to be made of scars and alcohol. Harry Hole is one of them. Set in a gloomy Oslo and overshadowed by crimes and rituals, this new adaptation of the great Red N successfully captures that violent melancholy that made the novels a worldwide success. It’s not just a police series; it’s a descent into hell, as each character has a hidden backstory that will be of utmost importance to anyone who enjoys the story. The truth is that there are twists that at times take us away from the everyday, from that repetitive pattern, and that is undoubtedly the hook of this new police series.

La empezamos a ver mientras esperábamos el estreno de The boys y otras lo cual no me esperaba mucho del detective Harry Hole pero cumplió con un buen papel y me llevo hasta el final en escenas que dejaban el pensamiento abierto a duda y pregunta. No cabe duda que la dirección aprovecha el sol de medianoche y las sombras de los callejones de Oslo, Noriega. Una ciudad lista para crear un claustrofóbico cielo que te mantendrá pegado al sofá tal como lo hizo conmigo y mi señora quien por cierto, no es tan amante al género pero aun así, dice que estuvo decentemente bien la adaptación del libro así que bueno, este es otra buena adaptación de Netflix.

We started watching it while we were waiting for the premiere of The Boys and other shows. I didn’t expect much from Detective Harry Hole, but he delivered a solid performance and kept me hooked until the end with scenes that left me with doubts and questions. There’s no doubt that the direction makes the most of the midnight sun and the shadows of Oslo’s alleys. A city ripe for creating a claustrophobic atmosphere that will keep you glued to the couch, just as it did for me and my wife—who, by the way, isn’t a huge fan of the genre but still says the adaptation of the book was pretty good—so, well, this is another solid Netflix adaptation.
