The truth is, I also feel like there wasn't enough time between the original and this live-action adaptation. I think these kinds of projects should be reserved for movies we could already consider Disney classics for example. My daughter has been begging to go see it, and honestly, we haven't been able to grant her request yet, but I hope to take her soon or that it becomes available on one of the streaming services we have. Your review is very well reasoned 🤘

Try to convince your daughter to watch it via streaming (when it becomes available; which shouldn't take long), because she isn't missing a thing with this new version.
