En casa tenemos la costumbre de llevar varias series a la vez. Y lo que hacemos es que cada noche, antes de dormir, nos sentamos a elegir qué capítulo veremos según el ánimo del día algo que para nosotros, es válido. Con esta serie fuimos poco a poco, saboreándola de rato aun cuando desde los primeros capítulos nos pareció una propuesta brillante con una atmósfera he intriga de alta calidad. Además que la calidad interpretativa de los actores presentes nos engancharon por completo. Quiero compartir con ustedes mi impresión sobre la serie sobre Scarpetta: médico forens. Una serie que desde que la conseguimos para ver le tomamos mucho cariño porque ambos somos admiradores de Nicole Kidman

At home, we’re in the habit of watching several series at once. What we do is sit down every night before bed to choose which episode to watch based on our mood that day something that works well for us. With this series, we took it slowly, savoring it bit by bit, even though from the very first episodes it struck us as a brilliant show with a high-quality atmosphere and intrigue. Plus, the actors’ performances completely hooked us. I want to share with you my thoughts on the series about Scarpetta, the medical examiner. It’s a series we’ve grown very fond of ever since we started watching it, because we’re both big fans of Nicole Kidman.

En fin, hay que destacar que sin duda hubo trabajo en la producion y lo digo por el nivel de detalle en los escenarios, en la historia. La que se va desenvolviendo en una red de misterio donde cada pequeña pista puede ser la clave para llegar al desenlace final. Lo que sin duda nos mantendrá en una tensión inceible de ver un capitulo más o esperar la noche siguiente pero quizás, esa noche no estemos de humor para ver a la doctora Scarpetta. De hecho, ese ritmo que teníamos para verla fue entretenido pues analizabamos hipótesis y teorías de la serie sobre hacia dónde se dirigía la trama.

In short, it’s worth noting that a lot of work clearly went into the production and I say this because of the level of detail in the sets and the story. The story unfolds within a web of mystery where every little clue could be the key to the final resolution. This will undoubtedly keep us on the edge of our seats, eager to watch one more episode or wait for the next night but perhaps that night we won’t be in the mood to watch Dr. Scarpetta. In fact, the rhythm we had while watching it was entertaining, as we analyzed hypotheses and theories from the series about where the plot was headed.

Para nosotros fue una sorpresa conseguir que el reparto de la serie contaba con un gran elenco de profesionales como: Jamie Lee Curtis, Simon Baker o a la misma Amanda Righetti. Sinceramente la serie tiene el potencial para ser una de las grandes producciones del año, pero el cierre del último capítulo, claramente nos dejó con una sensación bastante amarga, pues nos dejó con más preguntas que respuestas ja ja ja... Evidentemente la serie de seguro tendrá una segunda temporada pero como han estado cerrando proyectos después de su lanzamiento, no me aseguraré de la segunda temporada hasta que vea su anuncio. ¡Nunca se sabe!

We were surprised to find that the series featured such a stellar cast of professionals as Jamie Lee Curtis, Simon Baker, and Amanda Righetti herself. Honestly, the series has the potential to be one of the biggest hits of the year, but the ending of the last episode definitely left us with a pretty bitter taste in our mouths, since it left us with more questions than answers, ha ha ha... Obviously, the series will surely have a second season, but since they’ve been canceling projects after their release, I won’t be sure about a second season until I see the announcement. You never know!

La parte triste es que al terminar el capítulo, nos quedamos esperando los crédito hasta el final con la esperanza de un cierre distinto pero en lo que terminamos fue mirándonos con aquella mirada de preguntas rondando en nuestra cabeza. Nuestra opinión final es simple, la serie arriesga mucho con ese cierre. Para algunos puede sentirse como un gancho magistral para una futura entrega, pero para otros como yo y mi señora, deja cierta incertidumbre sobre si las respuestas ofrecidas estuvieron a la altura de la impecable construcción de la historia.

The sad part is that when the episode ended, we waited through the credits to the very end, hoping for a different conclusion, but we ended up just looking at each other with that questioning look, with questions swirling in our heads. Our final take is simple: the series takes a big risk with that ending. For some, it may feel like a masterful cliffhanger for a future installment, but for others like my wife and me it leaves some uncertainty as to whether the answers provided lived up to the impeccable storytelling.

Imagino que muchos de ustedes aun no la han visto así que bueno, igual que siempre, esta es solo mi opinión, y los invito a compartir la de ustedes y por supuesto a verla.
