Como ya es costumbre en casa, los domingos se limpia y se disfruta luego con una gran serie de películas acompañado en familia, con las jamás olvidadas cotufas y un buen vaso de refresco. Desde bien temprano Luna estuvo despierta y es que ayer teníamos una misión antes de empezar con el domingo familiar en casa. Ayer se me ocurrió sacar las butacas del vehículo familiar que poseemos ya que sinceramente necesitaban una buena remojada ja ja ja… Ella bien entusiasmada despertó primero que yo. Así que bueno, nos levantamos, desayunamos y empezamos con la primera labor del día, remojar y dejar limpios las butacas del nuestro carrito.

As is customary in our home, Sundays are spent cleaning and then enjoying a series of movies with the family, accompanied by the ever-present popcorn and a nice glass of soda. Luna was awake early because yesterday we had a mission before starting our family Sunday at home. Yesterday, I decided to take the seats out of our family vehicle because, honestly, they needed a good soaking, ha ha ha... She woke up before me, very excited. So, we got up, had breakfast, and started the first task of the day: soaking and cleaning the seats of our car.

Al culminar como a eso de horas del mediodía nos inventamos junto a Luna un almuerzo diferente, era ella quien tenía un día donde podría tomar todas las decisiones en la casa. Lo cual para cualquier padre hacer esto recomiendo primero tomar medidas drásticas ja ja ja… Como era ella quien decidía por supuesto, también fue la que escogió la película de la que le vengo a platicar. Debo aclarar que su decisión fue rápida dado a la colorida portada y bueno, una comedia no estaría mal ¨Dijimos¨ debo también aclarar que no soy muy amante a este tipo de películas y eso debido a que este tipo de producciones la han matado por su bajo nivel en todos los aspectos tanto que terminan como esta, siendo un verdadero verdugo para el cine y la comedia.

Últimamente el escritor de: Coraline y la puerta secreta o de la más reciente serie ¨The Sandman¨ Neil Gaiman creo que estaba fuera de sus cabales cuando se imaginó este guion pues para lo que mi concierne está bastante fuera de lugar. Entiendo que la mayoría de las comedias que logramos ver y que son normalmente las más famosas son las producciones gringas y por ende entendemos su curiosa forma de ver la comedia. Muy diferente a la latina. Por así decirlo. Y eso lo entiendo, pero esta sinceramente es simplemente un torso de algún cuerpo. Lo que quiero decir es que está totalmente incompleta, sin sentido aun cuando su mensaje final es que todo podemos elegir quien ser, no hay más de valor que ver aquí.

Lately, Neil Gaiman, writer of Coraline and the Secret Door and the more recent series The Sandman, must have been out of his mind when he came up with this script, because as far as I'm concerned, it's quite out of place. I understand that most of the comedies we get to see, and which are usually the most famous, are American productions, and therefore we understand their curious way of seeing comedy. Very different from the Latin American one, so to speak. And I understand that, but this is honestly just a torso of some body. What I mean is that it is totally incomplete, meaningless, even though its final message is that we can all choose who we want to be. There is nothing more valuable to see here.

Ni hablar de las actuaciones, por ejemplo, fácilmente se logra notar la incomodidad en la presentación de Kevin James. El cual ha tenido papeles mucho más difíciles que este que nos intenta presentar aquí como ¨Brian Jennings¨ Un padre recién despedido de su puesto de trabajo quien debe asumir ahora los cáseres de la casa entre ellos, atender a su hijo. Los primeros minutos de verdad que me hicieron reír, luego solo pase a asombrarme de la decepción ja ja ja… OK ok. Muchos actores, poca producción e insuficiencia en la dirección. Ver a Alan Ritchson como ¨Jeff Eamon¨ quien vagamente nos va aclarando quién es y que a la final, quedé igual ja ja ja… Papeles sin sentidos, actores como obligados y un sinfín de cosas más es lo que verán en esta decepcionante película de Kevin James.
