Hola mis queridos lectores de Hive y amantes del mundo del cine ❤️, En esta oportunidad seguimos con las recomendaciones protagonizadas por el querido actor Adam Sadler, un título que llegó a mi luego de buscar films con su actuación pero que no haya visto, y me encontré con esta joya "literal", ya que el tema principal se centra en las joyas preciosas tal como si título lo indica, solo que no se tratará de un diamante como tal sino de otra piedra preciosa con un valor incalculable que causará alegrías y también muchas desgracias, así que no les adelanto mucho más y los dejo como apreciación y opinión sobre esta película que roza y juega con el drama y la comedia.

Una historia más protagonizada por Adam Sandler quien la dará vida a Howard Ratner, un empresario dueño de una buena y conocida joyería a quien visitan varios famosos, entre ellos un jugador de la NBA quien queda maravillado por una de las gemas que tiene en su poder Howard pero que no está a la venta, sin embargo sus ansías y descontrol por los juegos de azar lo harán entregar esa gema, un ópalo extraño pero precioso valuado en muchos millones. La cuestión es que este jugador queda impresionado al creer que esa piedra le da suerte como especie de amuleto en sus partidos, tanto es así que para comprobarlo Howard se la presta o "alquila" a cambio de su anillo como jugador, y éste lo empeña para continuar con las apuestas, solo que su mayor apuesta fue precisamente a este jugador...y para su sorpresa gana!, una alegría que no duraría mucho porque luego del partido este jugador de la NBA no le quiere regresar la piedra, y sin ella Howard no podrá hacer más apuestas y sentirse con suerte. Además los matones a quiénes les debe dinero andan detrás de él, haciéndoles advertencias de muerte para que pague, pero al final será otra historia.
