Review || Konferensen || Netflix Horror Movie (2023) [ESP/ENG]
Hola mis queridos lectores de Hive y amantes del mundo cinematográfico ❤️ Hoy para iniciar la semana les quiero compartir una recomendación en el género de terror que mire este fin de semana y creo que como opción para ver antes de que llegue navidad esta muy bien, o si simplemente te entretienes con este género medio sangriento, suspenso y terror, entonces si te gustará.
Una de las cosas que me sorprendió al buscar este titulo fueron las buenas criticas que a recibido en el corto tiempo que lleva de estreno, a pesar de pertenecer al complicado género de terror. La verdad que cuando de este genero se trata, me gusta primero mirar los trailers, actores, un poco como se manejara la historia y si contiene mucho contenido explicito, y aunque esta que les comparto si las contiene, algo de ella me atrajo al recordarme un poco al temible Jason del clásico viernes 13, entre otros títulos arecidos en donde un asesino misterioso busca calmar su sed de sangre...pero lo que nadie sabe es que habrá una razón de peso que motivara a este psicópata a hacer lo que hizo.
El titulo que a principio nos puede parecer extraño, la razón es porque este film es de origen sueco, la traducción seria "La Conferencia", en donde básicamente un grupo de personas se reúnen en un lugar apartado pero... un ambiente tenso y algo del pasado los tratara de perseguir hasta la muerte.
Otro punto que me gustaría resaltar es la tensión con que manejan cada escena, aunque personalmente sufro con este tipo de historias donde hay una persecución, en donde te sientes perseguido y tu vida corre peligro. Sin dejar a un lado las locaciones que le dan ese aire misterioso y las actuaciones principales que como en la mayoría de films de terror, pocos al final lograr sobrevivir.
Por un lado tenemos a un grupo de trabajadores que se reúnen como de costumbre para resolver y discutir los casos que se les presentan, llega uno en concreto que causa diferencias y desacuerdos entre los integrantes, principalmente Lina (Katia Winter) quien descubre una discrepancia en unos documentos muy delicados sobre la aprobación de una construcción de un centro comercial en un terreno que parece ya tener dueño, mientras que Jonas (Adam Lundgren) quiere a toda costa continuar con el proyecto. Esto lleva a todo el grupo de trabajadores a reunirse y discutir mas este tema pero en un lugar mas apartado de todo y todos, una especie de retiro para despejar la mente y con las ideas claras dar un veredicto mas justo...aunque para ello deba pasar por rangos mas altos y de mas poder. Lo que ellos no saben es que esta decisión les costaría muy caro al verse envueltos en una especie de juego en donde son perseguidos por un misterioso asesino enmascarado...que es lo que busca?... y porque desea matar a toda esta gente sin ninguna razón aparente?. A partir de allí comenzará una lucha por descubrir la verdad, escapar y sobrevivir a esta pesadilla.
Esta película, como les comente dura un poco mas de 1 hora 30, fue estrenada recientemente el pasado mes de octubre y la verdad esta muy interesante para ver...y sufrir un poco también 😸. Cual sera la identidad de este asesino? y cuales serán las razones de su matanza?, sera alguien conocido? o uno que ellos menos esperan?. Mi puntuación para esta película sería un 9 de 10 porque aunque no es uno de mis géneros preferidos me entretuvo mucho verla hasta el final. Aquí les comparto el tráiler para que la disfruten y se animen a verla si es que aún no lo han hecho.. y ya luego me cuentan que tal les pareció.

One of the things that surprised me when looking for this title were the good reviews it has received in the short time it has been released, despite belonging to the complicated horror genre. The truth is that when it comes to this genre, I like to first look at the trailers, actors, a little how the story will be handled and if it contains a lot of explicit content, and although this one that I share with you does contain them, something about it attracted me to remind me a little of the fearsome Jason from the classic Friday the 13th, among other titles where a mysterious killer seeks to quench his thirst for blood ... but what nobody knows is that there will be a compelling reason that will motivate this psychopath to do what he did.
The title that at first may seem strange, the reason is because this film is of Swedish origin, the translation would be "The Conference", where basically a group of people gather in a secluded place but ... a tense atmosphere and something from the past will try to chase them to death.
Another point I would like to highlight is the tension with which each scene is handled, although I personally suffer with this kind of stories where there is a chase, where you feel persecuted and your life is in danger. Without leaving aside the locations that give it that mysterious air and the main performances that as in most horror films, few manage to survive in the end.
On the one hand we have a group of workers who meet as usual to resolve and discuss the cases that are presented to them, there comes one in particular that causes differences and disagreements among the members, mainly Lina (Katia Winter) who discovers a discrepancy in some very sensitive documents on the approval of a construction of a shopping center on a land that seems to already have an owner, while Jonas (Adam Lundgren) wants at all costs to continue with the project. This leads the whole group of workers to meet and discuss this issue further but in a place more secluded from everything and everyone, a kind of retreat to clear the mind and with clear ideas to give a fairer verdict ... even if it must go through higher ranks and more power. What they do not know is that this decision will cost them dearly as they get involved in a kind of game where they are pursued by a mysterious masked murderer...what is he looking for...and why does he want to kill all these people for no apparent reason? From there will begin a struggle to discover the truth, escape and survive this nightmare.
This movie, as I said, lasts a little more than 1 hour 30, it was recently released last October and the truth is very interesting to watch...and suffer a little too 😸. What will be the identity of this killer...and what will be the reasons of his killing, will it be someone known...or one that they least expect..... My score for this movie would be a 9 out of 10 because although it is not one of my favorite genres I was very entertained watching it until the end. A mí también me gustó mucho, aunque no le daría una puntuación tan elevada porque siento que tuvo sus carencias bastante notorias, pero eso es a gusto de cada quien. Me sorprendió mucho el tipo de humor negro que manejaron los suecos en esta película, además de no tener miedo poner muertes bastante sangrientas. Muy entretenida, la verdad.
