Esp/Eng Contestante movie review

Hace ya tiempo que vi esta película y me encanta es una de esas películas que he visto varias veces de hecho hoy la volví a ver para escribir este post. "Concursante" es una película española dirigida por Rodrigo Cortés y estrenada en 2007. El filme cuenta la historia de Martín Circo, un joven honesto y trabajador, profesor de historia de la economía en una universidad de España que se convierte en concursante de un reality show televisivo llamado "La Trampa". El programa, presentado por un carismático anfitrión llamado Juan, este programa promete al ganador un premio millonario por cada respuesta acertada y Martín al ser profesor de vocación conocía muchas de las respuestas del concurso y pudo ganar el premio mayor. Sin embargo, aquí comenzó su tormento porque pronto descubre que las reglas del programa son injustas y manipuladas para favorecer a los patrocinadores y la audiencia, a expensas de los concursantes.

I saw this movie a while ago and I love it. It's one of those movies that I've seen several times I watched it again today to write this post. "Contestant" is a Spanish movie directed by Rodrigo Cortés and released in 2007. The film tells the story of Martín Circo, a young, honest, and hardworking history of an economics professor at a university in Spain who becomes a contestant on a reality TV show called "The Trap". The program, presented by a charismatic host named Juan, promises the winner a million-dollar prize for each correct answer, and Martin, being a teacher of vocation, knew many of the answers to the contest and could win the grand prize. However, here his torment began because he soon discovers that the rules of the program are unfair and manipulated to favor sponsors and the audience, at the expense of the contestants.

muchas veces que ganamos un premio se nota que el dinero como que se va muy fácil, por lo menos acá en Venezuela hay un dicho, “lo que fácil viene fácil se va” y es algo que prácticamente se ve en esta película, claro acá hay otros términos, porque es una película española, si alguien ganará un concurso cómo es, aquí posiblemente podría evadir algunos impuestos, en cambio en Europa y otros países los impuestos realmente son algo obligatorio y me pareció increíble el ver la forma como la película plantea todo el sistema económico y sus falla. Me encantó la clase magistral que Edmundo Figueroa le dio a Martín la verdadera clase de economía dónde explico con términos muy simples y sencillos de comprender cómo funciona todo el sistema económico esto ciertamente lleva a pensar si realmente es así cómo funciona toda la economía claro en el mundo como lo conocemos es un poco como más complejo el poder comprender este terminó pero si lo vemos en serio qué haciendo está en parte sí tiene razón porque sobre todo la parte de créditos el interés es algo que nunca existe nunca Existirá es un dinero prácticamente inexistente y esto yo creo que nos lleva a hacernos muchas preguntas Cómo realmente será así o no.

Many times when we win a prize it is noticed that the money is spent very easily, at least here in Venezuela there is a saying, "what comes easy goes easy" and it is something that practically is seen in this movie, of course here there are other terms, because it is a Spanish movie, if someone wins a contest like this, here in Venezuela it is possible to evade some taxes, while in Europe and other countries, taxes are something mandatory and I found it incredible to see the way the movie presents the whole economic system and its failures. I loved the master class that Edmundo Figueroa gave to Martin, the real economics class where he explained with very simple and easy-to-understand terms how the whole economic system works, this certainly makes us think if it works that way or not.

yo la verdad creo que sí ganaría algún concurso así no sé qué haría con los premios y normal es tratar de disfrutarlo viajar y gastarlo, creo que es algo difícil de conservar y se que uno siempre dice que invertiría en algún negocio o algo para salir adelante pero seamos sinceros muy poco lo hacen o lo logran, porque es como el dicho que les comente antes “lo que fácil viene fácil se va”, si uno no lo trabaja como que no le duele y se gasta mucho más fácil, uno pudiera tratar de invertir en algo, pero que tenga éxito es lo difícil de lograr, aquí me gustaría leer su opinión a ver qué harían ustedes si se ganarán algún concurso como el de “Quién quiere ser millonario”.

I really think I could win some contest like that, I don't know what I would do with the prizes, and it's normal to try and enjoy it, travel and spend it, I think it's something difficult to keep and I know one always says they would invest it in some business or something to get ahead but let's be honest, very few people do it or succeed because it's like the saying I told you before, "what comes easy goes easy", if you don't work for it, it doesn't hurt as much and you spend it much more easily, you could try to invest it, but being successful is the difficult part to achieve, here I would like to read your opinion to see what you would do if you won a contest like "Who Wants to be a Millionaire".
