*The characters and fun concept in "Wingwomen" Movie Review*

After I was done watching this particular movie, titled 'Wingwomen', it is a French Heist Movie, I was shocked at how I never heard about the existence of this movie since last year and how it was able to slip past my nose without knowing about it until this month, I mean I would have watched it and given you all a review about the movie as per movie freak, you all know that I don't joke with the movie.

Well, after my exams troubles, I decided to get enough movies since I was sure that I wasn't going to be seen outside throughout this holiday except on important occasions or there is a need for me to go out, most of my close colleagues are living far from me and considering the hick in transportation I am not sure we would be seeing except there is an urgent need for it or maybe planned outing.

So, I got this movie and many other movies from my colleague and when I was done watching them especially this one, I was dumbfounded that such a kind of movie has been in existence since last year checking from the date of production and I just got to know about it this week. I mean where was I all this while that I didn't hear about it?

This movie is about two ladies who have been thieves all their lives, I mean that's the only thing they know how to do, and do it well, Under Marraine's thumb for years.

Carole and Alex are their names, and they have been best friends for as long as they can remember, after Carole finds out that she is pregnant, bringing a new life into the world, without telling anyone about the new development in her life, she decides to leave her current life and start a new life but she knew that her freedom and that of Alex wouldn't come for free especially having a boss like Marraine.

They wish and dream of freedom but freedom to Marraine means death, so Carole bargains with Marriane to go for one last robbery for her and Alex's freedom. With the help of Sam their recruit, a motorbike champion, a novice in the world of crime and guns, assists them with one last job, so they can try to free themselves from their current life to be able to live a less stressful, line of work they embark on this new job.

Wingwomen is a French Netflix crime comedy, that was released in November 2023, directed by Mélanie Laurent and it is a French-speaking movie. The main actors are Adéle Exarchopoulos, Mélanie Laurent, Manon Bresch and Isabella Adjani

The movie is a must-watch and would give the movie 9/10 but what I think they didn't do right was telling us who impregnated Carole, I was expecting to see them do a replay on who impregnated her but nothing of that sort, or maybe they was no need for such recap and the ending part didn't stick well with me but then the little suspense and twist left me dumbfounded as to how such twist came about.

These two ladies display what true friendship means and at a point, I got confused if they were actually sisters but after watching, I realized they met in the strangest way and strangest place, on one of Carole's robbery missions, and it warmed my heart to see them display such amount of affection towards each other.
