My thoughts after watching train to busan
Before now I don’t watch zombie movies often, but Train to Busan changed my mind about them completely. I had heard people talk about it for a long time, but I didn’t rush to watch it. One day, I finally decided to give it a try, and honestly, it was more than I expected.
The movie starts in a very calm way, just a father taking his daughter on a train to see her mother. Nothing looked unusual at first. But slowly, things began to change, and before I knew it, the whole train was in chaos. Zombies were attacking, and there was nowhere to run because they were stuck inside.
One thing I really liked was how the movie balanced action and emotions. Yes, there were a lot of fast-moving scenes and scary moments, but in between, you also saw kindness, sacrifice, and even selfishness from the characters. It felt very real, like how people might actually behave in a crisis.
The father’s character stood out the most for me. At the beginning, he seemed too busy and distant from his daughter. But as the journey continued, he changed. You could see how much he really loved her, even though he didn’t always show it before. By the end, he was ready to give up everything just to keep her safe. That part really touched me.
Another thing that stayed in my mind was how the zombies moved. They were so fast and aggressive, nothing like the slow ones I had seen in other movies. The scenes where people were running from them felt so intense, I even caught myself holding my breath without realizing it.
The train setting also made the movie unique. In most zombie films, characters can run anywhere, hide in buildings, or escape through the streets. But in Train to Busan, the space was limited. You could almost feel the pressure the characters were under, knowing the only way forward was through the next carriage, and each one might be worse than the last.
Thanks for reading my post.
One of the saddest parts for me was the ending. I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it, but it’s one of those endings that leaves you sitting quietly for a while. It’s not just about losing characters; it’s about the journey they took and how it changed them.
Overall, Train to Busan is more than just a zombie movie. It’s about family, humanity, and the choices we make when everything is falling apart. It reminded me that even in dangerous times, there are still moments of love and courage that shine through.
If you haven’t watched it yet, I honestly recommend it. Even if zombie films are not your thing, this one might surprise you the way it surprised me.
