13 Minutes - Frente al Tornado | Crítica [ESP-ENG]

Hoy les hablaré de "13 Minutes", nombre que en sí no tiene gran sentido con la película y las críticas hacia este título son demasiadas acertadas a la mía. Y es que "13 Minutes" no es un título entendible ya que se trata de un tornado 🌪️, tendría sentido si explicarán en la película la importancia de ponerse en un lugar seguro justo antes de ese tiempo.

Pero bueno, no vamos a seguir quejándonos de la película 😂, comencemos por las partes buenas, hay inclusión, sí y no justamente la que muchos buscan ver, solo parejas gay y ya, si no que también hay una niña sorda y muestran varias personas que viven casos muy reales. Podemos observar una familia conservadora con un hijo gay, migrantes, una madre soltera, entre otras.

Me llama mucho la atención una familia en particular, los padres y la niña sorda. Ellos tienen trabajos importantes de los cuales muchas personas dependen y deben cumplir con su deber incluso antes que con su hija. Esto me lleva a pensar en las muchas personas que cumplen ese rol en el mundo. Que en medio de un desastre se quedan allí, siendo médicos, siendo portavoz a través de la radio o televisión, siendo voluntarios y todo aquel que ayuda en medio de crisis. Y los demás nos preocupamos por qué ellos nos atiendan, nos ayuden e informen, pero olvidamos que ellos también son humanos y tienen familia.

Today I will talk to you about "13 Minutes", a name that in itself does not make much sense with the film and the criticisms of this title are too accurate for me. And the fact is that "13 Minutes" is not an understandable title as it is about a tornado 🌪️, it would make sense if they explained in the film the importance of getting to a safe place just before that time.

But well, we are not going to continue complaining about the film 😂, let's start with the good parts, there is inclusion, yes and not just the one that many are looking to see, just gay couples and that's it, but there is also a deaf girl and they show several people who live very real cases. We can see a conservative family with a gay son, migrants, a single mother, among others.

One family in particular stands out to me, the parents and the deaf girl. They have important jobs on which many people depend and they have to do their duty even before their daughter. This makes me think of the many people in the world who fulfil this role. Who in the midst of a disaster stay there, being a doctor, being a spokesperson on radio or television, being a volunteer, and everyone else who helps in the midst of a crisis. And the rest of us worry about them caring for us, helping us and informing us, but we forget that they are also human and have families.

Una de las protagonistas de esta película es Amy Smart, ya antes les he hablado de ella, actuó en "Invención", "Efecto Mariposa" y la última que había visto de ella "Tysom Run" dónde era madre de un niño autista, ahora en "13 Minutes: Frente al Tornado", ella es mamá de una niña sorda. La película me iba gustando, el suspenso me mataba y quería ver más.

Algunas partes si me parecían fastidiosas lo confieso 😂, en especial unas escenas en el campo, el actor William Peltz, que hacía el papel de Luke un chico que estaba descubriendo su lado gay, no me gustó y no tiene nada que ver con su inclinación en el film, si no que me parecía muy arrogante y amargado, me aburrían sus escenas.

Entonces, la película llega a su climax y el suspenso aumenta, pasa todo y cuando comienzas a ver qué va a suceder, de la nada la película termina y me quedé tipo "¿Qué?", Para mí no hubo un desarrollo de las historias de las familias que contaron. Un final como tal, creo que le faltó algo más. Si hubo partes como que ajá uno supone lo que pasó, pero realmente quería ver algo diferente.

Algo me decía que esto no terminaría tan bien para mí gusto, pues ví la película por partes. Si te gustan las películas de tornados puedes verla, pero seguro te decepcionas pues tampoco es que pasen escenas así del tornado con cosas volando 🙊😅. En fin, no volvería a ver esta película y solo aplaudo a la niña y sus padres, la historia de ellos estuvo más desarrollada.

One of the main characters in this film is Amy Smart, I have told you about her before, she acted in "Invention", "Butterfly Effect" and the last one I had seen of her "Tysom Run" where she was the mother of an autistic child, now in "13 Minutes: Tornadofront", she is the mother of a deaf girl. I was liking the film, the suspense was killing me and I wanted to see more.

Some parts I found annoying I confess 😂, especially some scenes in the countryside, the actor William Peltz, who played the role of Luke a boy who was discovering his gay side, I didn't like and it has nothing to do with his inclination in the film, but I found him very arrogant and bitter, I was bored with his scenes.

Then, the film reaches its climax and the suspense builds, everything happens and when you start to see what is going to happen, out of nowhere the film ends and I was like "What?", For me there was no development of the stories of the families they told. An ending as such, I think it lacked something more. There were parts of the film where you kind of assumed what happened, but I really wanted to see something different.

Something told me that it wouldn't end so well for my taste, because I watched the film in parts. If you like tornado movies you can watch it, but I'm sure you'll be disappointed because it's not like there are scenes like that of the tornado with things flying 🙊😅. Anyway, I wouldn't watch this movie again and I only applaud the girl and her parents, their story was more developed.
