Hi Galen, I can imagine you enjoying yourself like a child and I'm glad. With current cinema I have an absolute disconnect, actually the disconnect is not so absolute, I can remember some movies from a few years ago now like Dunkirk or The Imitation Game. The last one that caught my attention is also a few years old but I have recently seen it on TV. " El abrazo de la Serpiente" (The Embrace of the Serpent) directed by director Ciro Guerra. That's all, a hug

Dunkirk is one of my favourites as is 1917, both great movies. Oh, and also Fury. I love history and especially war history so a lot of what I read and watch is related. Have you seen Hacksaw Ridge? True story, worth a look.

Anyway, I struggle to watch most of the movies that come out now, especially those franchise movies like Marvel, DC and fast and furious. They should call that last one, fucked and ridiculous.

Yes I have seen it. I saw it a few months ago on TV, I did not remember it but I thought it was a very good movie, apart from the fact that it is based on real events. About Marvel movies, I prefer the SF movies of the 50s and 60s 👽🛸.
