El amor es una fuerza que impulsa, si dejas de luchar por la persona que amas ya no es amor, cuando te rindes, el amor pesa. Pero si tanto te interesa "inténtalo una vez más", si aun así, no funcionó deja a tu corazón en libertad. ¿Vale la pena? Lo vale si en el fondo crees que la otra persona te ama. El amor se reconoce mucho antes de nacer.

Hace mucho no escribía sobre películas... El tiempo y yo no nos ponemos de acuerdo, sin embargo hay dos cosas puntuales por las que me hacen acudir o refugiarme en una película que siempre son entre las décadas 80's y 90's por ser mis favoritas, las razones pueden ser: o tengo una recaída de salud o tengo el corazón roto, aunque este último ha estado así por muchísimos años, hoy se suma a que me enfermé. Me tomó un tiempito para ver algo bonito que me ayude a mantener la poca fe en ese sentimiento.
Music another room, es un nombre bastante extraño para una película sobre todo porque parece no tener sentido, sin embargo entre unas reflexiones que hace Danny sobre el amor cuando le pregunta lo que es para él, dice (parafraseo): "el amor es como una música que aun en la distorsión del ambiente y los problemas, aun con mucho ruido, lo puedes seguir escuchando"... Ese pensamiento lo mantenía enfocado por conquistar a Anna, quien parecía difícil de alcanzar.
La traducción al español de esta película es "Con los ojos del corazón" siento que alude a que Anna y Danny estaban destinados a conocerse y amarse. La película es bella, marcada en el romance y comedia si te gustan estos géneros. Tuve la oportunidad de verla en canales de televisión, hoy la puedo ver gracias a la aplicación Prime Video, completa, sin cortes y con buena calidad.
Amo las actuaciones de Jude Law sobre todo cuando son comedia o romance, son muy buenas, Martha Plimpton no se queda atrás, sin embargo me hizo ruido la actuación de Jennifer Tilly, más adelante cuento por qué, sin embargo no fue tan mala como para arruinar la película.

Time and I don't see eye to eye, but there are two specific reasons why I turn to or take refuge in films, always from the 80s and 90s, which are my favourite decades. The reasons may be that I'm having a health relapse or I have a broken heart, although the latter has been the case for many years, and now I'm also ill. I take a little time to watch something beautiful that helps me maintain what little faith I have in that feeling.
Music in Another Room is a rather strange name for a film, especially because it seems to make no sense. However, among Danny's reflections on love when asked what it means to him, he says (I paraphrase): "Love is like music that, even with the distortion of the environment and problems, even with a lot of noise, you can still hear"... That thought kept him focused on winning over Anna, who seemed difficult to reach.
The Spanish translation of this film is "Con los ojos del corazón" (With the Eyes of the Heart), which I feel alludes to the fact that Anna and Danny were destined to meet and love each other. The film is beautiful, marked by romance and comedy, if you like these genres. I had the opportunity to see it on television channels, and today I can watch it thanks to the Prime Video app, in its entirety, uncut and in good quality.
I love Jude Law's performances, especially when they are comedy or romance, they are very good. Martha Plimpton is not far behind, however, Jennifer Tilly's performance bothered me, I'll explain why later, but it wasn't so bad as to ruin the film.

Contando un poco la historia sin hacer mucho spoiler Dany es hijo de un médico militar activo, perdió a su madre al nacer, su padre Hank es amigo de la familia Swan donde Grace Swan entra en trabajo de parto de emergencia y Hank interviene, su pequeño hijo Danny, ayuda a salvar la vida del bebé sacando el cordón umbilical que se había atorado en el cuello de la criatura, al fin pudo nacer una niña que llamaron Anna. Durante el trabajo de parto suceden cosas muy divertidas, entre ellas Danny al ver la bebé dijo: "Me casaré con ella"...
Danny no tuvo suerte en el amor, de hecho quien creyó que lo amaba le dio una puñalada por la espalda, al mudarse a otra ciudad por otra persona. Por supuesto que cuando nos decepcionan de esa manera, cuando nos hieren, cuando se burlan de nosotros, decimos cosas hirientes y lo típico "no volveré a enamorarme nunca mas" no sé cuantas veces he dicho eso. De hecho hace un día volví a decirlo, tamaña decepción, tamaño dolor, tamaño enojo cuando dicen "te amo" sin sentirlo.
Danny se quedó buscando un empleo en la ciudad, pues el viajó para estar con quien amaba, sin embargo, esta lo recibió con una mudanza y un "adiós me voy con otro". El pobre pasó por calamidades desde pequeño, perdió a su madre, su padre siempre estaba ausente por trabajo y su timidez lo volvió presa fácil del bullying.

When Grace Swan goes into emergency labour, Hank steps in, and his young son Danny helps save the baby's life by removing the umbilical cord that was wrapped around its neck. Finally, a baby girl named Anna is born. During the labour, some very funny things happen, including Danny seeing the baby and saying, "I'm going to marry her"...
Danny was unlucky in love. In fact, the person he thought loved him stabbed him in the back by moving to another city for someone else. Danny creció y se convirtió en restaurador de azulejos, un empleo poco común y con casi nada de oportunidad. Alquiló un cuarto en un local de panadería, donde estuvo trabajando de repartidor, a pesar de lo caótico e inestable de su vida se mantenía optimista y hacía todo lo que podía con agradecimiento.

El papel que desempeña Jennifer Tilly (Nina) como ciega no es muy creíble, pero creo que va bien con la historia, al final Danny sin decir nada continuo su viaje a entregar el paquete. Tiempo después la familia Swan encargó un pastel en la panadería y él tuvo la oportunidad de regresar, él estaba emocionado de volverla a ver, tanto que había olvidado lo roto que estaba tras la traición.

One day, when he had to deliver an order and got lost, he casually asked for directions and ended up at the house where Grace was born. He recognised the place by the sign and the figure on the door, "Swan". Imagine that! There he recognised Ana, who also has a blind sister. Danny remembered when he helped bring her into the world. His heart raced. When she got to her room, she had some powerful thoughts about love, thoughts that I think we all agree with. I was struck by this phrase: "Love makes us idiots." It refers to how we blindly believe in the person we love, and then they obviously don't love us as they say they do and betray us.
Jennifer Tilly's (Nina) role as a blind woman is not very believable, but I think it fits well with the story. In the end, Danny continued his journey to deliver the package without saying anything. Some time later, the Swan family ordered a cake from the bakery and he had the opportunity to return. He was so excited to see her again that he had forgotten how broken he was after the betrayal.
When he arrived at the house to deliver the cake, he realised that Anna had a boyfriend. He was so shocked that he had an accident. I can measure the accident by how broken his heart is. He hadn't even fully recovered from his previous break-up, only to be broken even more inside.

Disfruté mucho de la historia de cada hermana de Anna, puedo decir que me reí mucho, aunque dentro de todo el teatro cómico nos dan excelentes moralejas. Parece que tenemos aqui varios tipos de personalidades: La suicida, la amargada, la ciega y Ana, que como sabemos la pintan como un ángel.
Es impresionante y esto también lo viví, los amiguitos de Danny que le hacían bullying aun de grandes, seguían siendo unos inmaduros y continuaron con su bullying. Alli Grace contó la historia a la familia de cómo Danny ayudó en el parto salvando la vida de Anna que por supuesto escuchó la historia. La familia le ofreció trabajo para que leyera historias a Nina, él acepto solo por estar cerca de Anna.
Por su parte, Anna asumió el peso de llevar a toda la familia, sus padres ya ancianos, su madre enferma, su hermana ciega, la sobre carga le estresa, el novio de Anna la ha ayudado muchas veces con los gastos, definiendo sus sentimientos por él, no es amor, es gratitud, ahora, te toca a ti descubrir el desenlace de esta película.
Creo que disfrutarías de la película, hay altibajos emocionales, estos harán que te mantengas prendido en la trama sin aburrirte.
Después de todo esto... ¿Seguimos guardando la esperanza en el amor? ¿Crees que aun existen personas buenas que aman de verdad sin etiquetas, sin intereses de por medio y de verdad? El amor es un sentimiento que lo engloba todo: respeto, presencia, empatía, constancia y perseverancia. Puedo notar que mucho se han rendido y otros más nos estamos rindiendo...

I really enjoyed the story of each of Ana's sisters. I can say that I laughed a lot, although within all the comedy, they give us excellent moral lessons. It seems that we have several types of personalities here: the suicidal one, the bitter one, the blind one, and Ana, who, as we know, is portrayed as an angel.
It's impressive, and I experienced this too: Danny's friends who bullied him even when they were older were still immature and continued their bullying. Alli Grace told the family the story of how Danny helped during the birth, saving Anna's life, who of course heard the story. The family offered him a job reading stories to Nina, which he accepted just to be close to Anna.
For her part, Anna took on the burden of supporting the whole family: her elderly parents, her sick mother, her blind sister. The overload stresses her out. Ana's boyfriend has helped her many times with expenses, defining her feelings for him. It is not love, it is gratitude. Now, it is up to you to discover the outcome of this film.
I think you would enjoy the film. There are emotional ups and downs that will keep you hooked on the plot without getting bored.
After all this... Do we still hold out hope for love? Do you think there are still good people out there who truly love without labels, without ulterior motives, and with sincerity? Love is a feeling that encompasses everything: respect, presence, empathy, constancy, and perseverance. I can see that many have given up, and others are giving up...
