Continuando con mi reflexión de arriba, si me voy a quedar soltera al menos que me alegren la vida siendo millonaria 🤣 La soledad se lleva mejor porque podemos distraernos a lo grande.
Haciendo scroll de las películas con Richard Gere como protagonista, me he dado cuenta que me he perdido de muchas, Dr. T and Women es una película del género comedia, los actores que acompañan a Richard Gere son actores de trayectoria, reconocidos y pensé que sería estupenda. Amo a Richard Gere siempre he dicho que fue mi primer amor y lo sigue siendo, mi gran amor platónico hasta que lo destronó Johnny Deep. No me gusta hacer críticas negativas de las películas que traigo pero, mi decepción sobre esta que traigo hoy es notable. Todo por el guión, el guión al principio es demasiado confuso y pude ver que hay demasiados actores haciendo relleno sin sentido. No pude entender la película ya avanzados los primeros 40 minutos... Aquí nos damos cuenta que pueden tener actores de mucho renombre pero sin un buen guión puede ser un desastre, quise investigar si fui yo nada más la que se percató de esto pero revisando las críticas... no fue tan buena, no es a lo que nos acostumbramos a ver no solo a Richard Gere en las películas sino tambien al resto de los actores cuyas participaciones fueron demasiado pobres como: Hellen Hunt, Farrah Fawcett, Kate Hudson y Tiv Tyler.

Scrolling through movies starring Richard Gere, I realized I missed many, Dr. T and Women is a comedy genre movie, the actors accompanying Ricard Gere are established, well known actors and I thought it would be great. I love Richard Gere I have always said he was my first love and still is, my great platonic love until he was dethroned by Johnny Deep. I don't like to do negative reviews of the movies I bring but, my disappointment about this one I bring today is remarkable. All because of the script, the script at the beginning is too confusing and I could see that there are too many actors doing meaningless filler. I couldn't understand the movie even after the first 40 minutes.... Here we realize that they can have big name actors but without a good script it can be a disaster, I wanted to investigate if it was just me who noticed this but reviewing the reviews... it was not that good, it is not what we are used to see not only Richard Gere in the movies but also the rest of the actors whose participation was too poor like: Hellen Hunt, Farrah Fawcett, Kate Hudson and Tiv Tyler.

Tengo mi relación amor-odio con esta película de verdad. Navego entre mi amor por Richard y el pésimo Guión, se parece a mi ex y nuestra historia, no tiene sentido, fue algo como "demasiado falso". Para ser comedia, no me sacó ni una sonrisa, ni una lágrima pero aprendí algo de ella. De hecho, le vi una lógica al comportamiento de mi ginecólogo, ahora entendí porqué lleva una vida solitaria y por qué se metía tanto en problemas de faldas.
El Doctor Travis (Richard Gere) un hombre perfecto y deseado por toda mujer, amoroso, respetuoso, dulce, adinerado, elegante, caballero pero casado, ser tan bueno en todo hizo que su esposa desarrollara una extraña patología psiquiátrica terminando recluida en un sanatorio. El Dr Travis le guardó respeto hasta que vio su condición irreversible, ella no lo reconocía, decidió rehacer su vida pero... No le fue tan bien.
Imagínense un ginecólogo, con demasiadas pacientes al día y muchas solo iban por querer verlo y sabrá Dios de las fantasías de cada una, sin embargo Travis, ya estaba "asqueado" pues ni su secretaria pudo evitar caer en sus encantos naturales. Aquí conoció a Bree (Helen Hunt) que a diferencia del mujerero que lo perseguía, ella se mostraba poco interesada, tienes que ver esta parte tan vacía.

I have my love-hate relationship with this movie for real. I navigate between my love for Richard and the lousy Script, it resembles my ex and our story, it doesn't make sense, it was something like "too fake". For a comedy, it didn't get a smile out of me, not a tear but I learned something from it. in fact I saw a logic to my gynecologist's behavior now I understood why he leads a lonely life and why he was getting into so much skirt trouble.
Dr. Travis (Richard Gere) a perfect man and desired by every woman, loving, respectful, sweet, wealthy, elegant, gentlemanly but married, being so good at everything made his wife develop a strange psychiatric pathology ending up in a sanatorium. Dr. Travis respected her until he saw her irreversible condition, she did not recognize him, decided to rebuild her life but.... It didn't go so well.
Imagine a gynecologist, with too many patients a day and many only wanted to see him and God knows the fantasies of each one, however Travis was already "disgusted" because not even his secretary could avoid falling for his natural charms. Here he met Bree (Helen Hunt) who unlike the womanizer who pursued him, she showed little interest, you have to see this part so empty.

La película se desarrolla entre gente de la alta sociedad, amé los escenarios, no lo puedo mentir y el vestuario me fascinó.
El Doctor T tenia dos hijas, una de ellas estaba por casarse, sin embargo la dama de honor y ella se guardaban una sorpresa tan adorable que fue mi parte favorita de la película, a mi parecer, se robó toda la atención. Fue la parte bonita y oxigenante. Tienes que ver cuál era la sorpresita.
Hay otro momento que disfruté mucho pero no le encontré sentido, el Doctor T se reunía a cazar patos y pavos con sus amigos pero siempre fracasaban, pudo ser algo gracioso pero extraño y confuso.
En la película manejaban una extraña superstición acerca de la lluvia, ocurrió durante el matrimonio, debo advertir que el final tiene imágenes impactantes, solo para adultos. Dentro de todo lo malo, disfruté mucho volver a ver a Richard Gere y parte de los actores que lo acompañaron. Le di un 3/5 a la película porque verdaderamente el guión fue incomprensible por muchos minutos.

AThe movie takes place among high society people, I loved the scenery, I can't lie and the costumes fascinated me.
Doctor T had two daughters, one of them was about to get married, however the maid of honor and she had such an adorable surprise in store that it was my favorite part of the movie, in my opinion, it stole all the attention. It was the cute and oxygenating part. You got to see what the little surprise was.
There is another moment that I really enjoyed but didn't make sense of, Doctor T would get together to hunt ducks and turkeys with his friends but they always failed, it might have been funny but it was strange and confusing.
In the movie they handled a strange superstition about rain, it happened during the marriage, I must warn that the ending has shocking images, only for adults. In spite of all the bad things, I really enjoyed seeing Richard Gere and some of the actors that accompanied him. I gave the movie a 3/5 because the script was truly incomprehensible for many minutes.

The truth is that I have not seen this movie, and I am surprised a bit what you tell. What anger does when you have an actor you love, like Richard Gere, and the movie is not up to it! You leave me thinking about that it is super confusing at the beginning ... If at 40 minutes you still do not understand what happens, we are going. Verdad que Richard Gere es un papasito de actor jajaja y está cómo el vino, ese hombre no envejece nada vale, y bueno está película no la he visto, pero bien es cierto que hay películas que cuentan con grandes actores pero la trama no tanto y termina decepcionando, que mal está fue así.
