Soy una romántica sin remedio ¡Jajaja! ¡Ay! Necesito de esta dosis de romance que me falta en la vida, ya que el tren me dejó atrás. No saben cuántos suspiros me robó la película mientras fruncía mi seño para entender lo que estaba pasando.
Por supuesto, esta película la vi en el feed mientras estaba por ver la película anterior a la que le hice review y en el que quedé un poco decepcionada porque el gran Keanu Reeves tuvo una participación muy pobre. En esta, tenía esperanza de que no me decepcionara ya que su pareja en la película es Sandra Bullock.
¿Cuántos somos fans de esta increíble pareja? Yo, soy su fan desde la primera vez que los vi actuar juntos en la película Speed, la química entre ellos y la historia de esa película fue mi punto de partida para enamorarme de ellos dos. Creo que después de eso todos quisimos que ellos dos fueran pareja en la vida real, sin embargo sus vidas cruzaron caminos diferentes, muy profesionales. Fue muy triste para mí enterarme en una entrevista a ambos, que estuvieron enamorados uno del otro pero no se atrevieron nunca a confesarlo... ¡Qué pena! Porque al ver la historia de ellos con otras parejas de las que fue tan triste, quizá ellos dos hubieran sido más felices juntos.

Of course, I saw this movie in the feed while I was about to see the previous movie I reviewed and was a little disappointed because the great Keanu Reeves had a very poor performance. In this one, I was hopeful that I wouldn't be disappointed since his partner in the movie is Sandra Bullock.
How many of us are fans of this amazing couple? Me, I've been their fan since the first time I saw them act together in the movie Speed, the chemistry between them and the story of that movie was my starting point to fall in love with the two of them. I think after that we all wanted the two of them to be a couple in real life, however their lives crossed different paths, very professional. It was very sad for me to learn in an interview with both of them, that they were in love with each other but never dared to confess it.... What a pity! Because looking at their history with other couples it was so sad, maybe they both would have been happier together.

Amé la película desde que vi el titulo y los protagonistas, guardaba el momento para poder verla con calma y disfrutar de cada escena.
Sandra Bullock (Kate Forster) había rentado una casa en el lago (de allí el nombre de la película) unos años atrás, ella deja notas al siguiente arrendatario en el buzón, pero lo curioso es que la película está en dos tiempos diferentes, cuando Kate conoce a Alex Wyler (Keanu Reeves) estaba con una pareja y no le prestó mucho cuidado aunque se besaron en su cumpleaños, esta parte me dije: ¡Caramba! ¿Acabas de conocerlo y ya lo besaste? Pelo cuando avance la película entenderás por qué.
Esta película nos puede hablar de amor en vidas pasadas, ¿resurrección, reencarnación? Lo cierto es que son amores de toda la vida, de la eternidad. Un amor eterno de esos que los románticos como yo desean vivir y parece que solo está en las películas.
La historia de la película cambia y se presenta en dos tiempos Pasado y presente para Kate y presente y futuro para Alex, es una historia que narra dos años antes de volver a encontrarse.
Kate alquila la casa del lago, vive allí por un tiempo y luego se muda a la ciudad, el siguiente arrendatario es Alex y las escenas pueden dar muchos dejavu. Pero no quiero contar más nada, solo darte una ayudita para que no estés tan perdido como yo en esos momentos. Adoré descubrir cada detalle de la vida de ellos dos en la historia, la manera romántica que se escribían cartas sin supuestamente conocerse.

Sandra Bullock (Kate Forster) had rented a house on the lake (hence the name of the movie) a few years ago, she leaves notes to the next tenant in the mailbox, but the funny thing is that the movie is in two different times, when Kate meets Alex Wyler (Keanu Reeves) she was with a couple and did not pay much attention to him although they kissed on his birthday, this part I said to myself: Wow, you just met him and you already kissed him? This movie can tell us about love in past lives, resurrection, reincarnation? The truth is that it is a love of a lifetime, of eternity. An eternal love of those that romantics like me want to live and it seems that it is only in the movies.
The story of the film changes and is presented in two tenses Past and present for Kate and present and future for Alex, is a story that tells two years before they meet again.
Kate rents the lake house, lives there for a while and then moves to the city, the next tenant is Alex and the scenes can give a lot of dejavu. But I don't want to tell any more, just give you a little help so you won't be as lost as I was in those moments. I loved discovering every detail of the life of the two of them in the story, the romantic way they wrote letters to each other without supposedly knowing each other.

Al final el tiempo puede ajustarse, tendrás que verlo desde tu perspectiva, yo lloré a moco suelto, el amor pudo salvar vidas. Pudo salvarse a sí mismo, el amor pudo superar la separación de la muerte, pudo incluso soportar la distancia, el tiempo y todas las vicisitudes.

Es una historia fantástica que amarás. Aunque ya me he vuelto algo incrédula por mi edad, lo puedo ver en los jóvenes.
¡Qué afortunado fue mi ex el Richard! Que en sus casi 60 años alguien como yo pudo amarlo mas que nadie en su vida, pero ese amor solo lo sentí yo, él lo dejó ir, prefirió "su soledad"
Para una mujer creo que es más difícil, puesto que perdemos el interés y no estamos dispuestas a soportar o pasar por las mismas cosas del pasado. Ya nuestra paz y tranquilidad vale más que todo, tal vez eso fue lo que quiso decir él... Sin embargo por las noches, a veces me hago historias como esta película, en donde el amor pudo más.

I remember when I saw this film all those years ago, I thought it was magical and I have recommended it to many. The theme of time, timeless love and how things happen as the universe organises.
It is a film that beyond the theme of love has very interesting things to see, love transcends borders and even that of time and space. It has been a wonderful review of a wonderful film. It's one of my favourites and it's great you brought it back. it really makes you sigh as you say... it makes you believe again because it's real!

No la he visto! Pero solo con lo que cuentas de que es una película donde el amor trasciende el tiempo y que salen Sandra Bullock y Keanu Reeves juntos, ya me da curiosidad. Por lo que describes, parece que es una de esas películas que te hacen suspirar y te dejan pensando en el amor verdadero. Y si dices que se llora a moco tendido, ¡entonces necesito prepararme con una caja de pañuelos!

No he visto esta película, una de mis actrices preferidas es Sandra Bullock. Sin embargo, Keanu Reeves cada vez que lo veo me parece que estoy viendo Matrix. Para mi es un actor encasillado. Es mi opinión.

La historia romántica tiene algo de mágica por el asunto de que el amor sobrevive más allá de la vida, es una excelente pareja, de verdad que también quería que ambos actores estuviesen juntos.
