Review: Podría ser la unión entre dos mundos en guerra: La leyenda de Ochi / It could be the union between two worlds at war: The Legend of Ochi (Esp/Eng)
Los efectos visuales pueden ser muy atraíbles, los personajes estuvieron pocos pero excelentes, las moralejas y valores son los que más destaca esta película sin embargo, siento que algo no estaba bien en la historia, el guión tenía muchos espacios que no ayudaban a entender los sucesos. Fue un puntaje pobre el que puse es verdad, un poco de equilibrio entre estos elementos, pudo ser mejor.
The visual effects can be very appealing, the characters were few but excellent, the morals and values are the highlights of this movie, however, I feel that something was not right in the story, the script had many gaps that did not help to understand the events. It was a poor score I gave it's true, a little balance between these elements, it could have been better.

Esta es una película reciente, me llamó la atención el título, el género y ver entre los actores a Willem Dafoe a quien recuerdo muy buena interpretación de un personaje malvado en la antigua película "el hombre araña" que interpretó a Norman, el duende verde archi enemigo de Peter, al ver el género dudé un poco porque he visto a Willem interpretar personajes de acción y pensaba que por el título y algunas imágenes se trataba de una película de fantasía dulce, peor no fue así, de hecho podría ser un tipo de película de acción que no es mucho de mi agrado. Así lo tomé, como si no es de mi estilo, sin embargo, al revisar las críticas, hay un porcentaje dividido 50/50 de espectadores que la odiaron y otros les gustó. no es que la odie sino que me costó mucho comprenderla y siento que hubo demasiados espacios vacíos en la historia, pero ojo, es solo mi experiencia. Aun así considero que el papel de cada actor estuvo super genial, es la historia la que tenía como fallas, porque los escenarios y personajes son hermosos.
Hay muchas partes de la película que están generadas por computadora, son fantásticos, tan fantásticos que parecen reales.

This is a recent movie, it caught my attention the title, the genre and to see among the actors Willem Dafoe who I remember very good interpretation of an evil character in the old movie "the spider man" who played Norman, the green goblin arch enemy of Peter, when I saw the genre I doubted a little because I have seen Willem play action characters and I thought that by the title and some images it was a sweet fantasy movie, but it was not, in fact it could be a type of action movie that is not much to my liking. That's how I took it, as if it's not my style, however, when reviewing the reviews, there is a 50/50 split percentage of viewers who hated it and others liked it. It's not that I hated it but I had a hard time understanding it and I feel that there were too many empty spaces in the story, but beware, it's just my experience. I still consider that the role of each actor was great, it's the story that was flawed, because the scenery and characters are beautiful.
There are many parts of the movie that are computer generated, they are fantastic, so fantastic that they seem real.

Realmente se puede tomar la historia por sus moralejas, tiene muchas y es la parte hermosa, habla de la relación padre-hija y madre-hija, tiene valores como el respeto a los seres vivos naturaleza, animales, sin distinción y prevalece el amor. No creo que sea una película apta para niños, porque la historia no la entenderían, pasarían más de la mitad de la película para emocionarse viendo "algo mágico suceder" además es muy violenta y puede incitar al odio aunque al final pudieron hacer las pases, pero para un niño si no entendió desde el principio, podría ser confundido en muchas cosas. creo que quisieron ahorrarse el gasto de tener muchos personajes en la historia y extras que me parece fueron necesarios para comprender la historias de "un pueblo"
Un poco de la historia de lo que llegué a comprender Yuri (Helena Zengel) le tocó discernir entre una guerra legendaria entre dos mundos, uno animal y el otro humano, en el cual los Ochis siendo personajes animales semejantes a un mono quienes atacaban a los humanos para enfermarlos, mientras que los humanos atacaban a los Ochis para extinguirlos y estuvieron cazándolos por sigolos, hasta que Yuri encontró un bebé ochi y no quiso hacerle daño sino llevarlo a su "manada"
Yuri estaba peleada con su papá porque ella sentía que en el fondo las historias de odio que contaba contra los animales y su madre no eran del todo ciertas, ella descubrió la verdad al querer ayudar al bebé ochi

I do not think it is a movie suitable for children, because the story would not understand it, they would spend more than half of the movie to get excited watching "something magical happen" it is also very violent and can incite hatred although in the end they could make the passes, but for a child if he did not understand from the beginning, he could be confused in many things. I think they wanted to save the expense of having many characters in the story and extras that I think were necessary to understand the stories of "a people".
A little of the story of what I came to understand Yuri (Helena Zengel) had to discern between a legendary war between two worlds, one animal and the other human, in which the Ochis being animal characters similar to a monkey who attacked the humans to make them sick, while the humans attacked the Ochis to extinguish them and were hunting them for sigolos, until Yuri found a baby ochi and did not want to hurt him but to take him to his "herd".
Yuri was fighting with her father because she felt that deep down the stories of hatred that he told against the animals and her mother were not entirely true, she discovered the truth when she wanted to help the ochi baby.

La madre de Yuri fue mordida por un ochi y se alejó de los humanos porque no quiso lastimar a los ochis mientras encontraba la cura, tuvo éxito porque encontró a su hija Yuri muy enferma porque el bebé ochi la mordió accidentalmente tratando de defenderse de la persecución de los humanos.
Yuri encontró a su madre y ella le salvó, insistió que la mordida le otorgó poderes para entender el idioma de los ochis y se arriesgo a llevarlo a su pueblo, mientras que su padre y hermanos estaban buscándola para rescatarla.
Todo me pareció bonito en cuanto a la fotografía pero la historia, el guión, es confuso, hay muchos espacios en blanco, unos 15 minutos antes de que termine, fueron muy bonitos, los mejores de la película, pero lo dejaría hasta alli, porque el final parece que fue solo relleno incomprensible.
¿Recomiendo verla? Solo si tenes sueño y no tienes nada que hacer, solo si eres adulto y quieres romperte la cabeza tratando de entender el guión, la vería por las imágenes creadas por computadora, la banda sonora y los sonidos de los animales, en muchas ocasiones pudo ser una molestia para el tinitus.
Es una pena, que la película siendo algo actual tenga una calidad de historia de una película de los 70's-80's muy pobre en aspectos.
Si ya la viste, me alegraría saber tu experiencia, parece que pertenezco al 50% de los que fruncieron el seño.

I thought everything was beautiful in terms of photography but the story, the script, is confusing, there are a lot of blanks, about 15 minutes before it ends, were very nice, the best of the movie, but I would leave it there, because the ending seems like it was just incomprehensible filler.
Do I recommend watching it? Only if you are sleepy and have nothing to do, only if you are an adult and want to break your head trying to understand the script, I would watch it for the computer-generated images, the soundtrack and the sounds of the animals, in many occasions it could be a nuisance for tinnitus.
It's a shame, that the movie being somewhat current has a story quality of a 70's-80's movie very poor in aspects.
If you have already seen it, I would be glad to know your experience, it seems that I belong to the 50% of those who frowned.

Ciertamente tiene muchas debilidades está película, no entiendo porque fue tan floja en tantos aspectos; aún así tiene un bonito mensaje, que hubiese sido genial produndizar.
