¡Hola amigos! Espero que se encuentren todos muy bien. Hoy les traigo la reseña de la segunda temporada de Heartstopper.
Al ser una segunda temporada está reseña puede contener algún spoiler de la primera.

Heartstopper es una serie basada en una novela gráfica de la autora Alice Oseman. En ella se tocan temas importantes sobre el amor entre personas del mismo sexo y las diferentes identidades sexuales y románticas que puedan existir.
Heartstopper is a series based on a graphic novel by author Alice Oseman. It touches on important themes of same-sex love and the different sexual and romantic identities that may exist.
Esta serie se enfoca, en particular, en Charlie y Nick, dos adolescentes que se conocen en la escuela y crean una relación de amistad. Charlie es gay y todos lo saben. En cambio, a simple vista Nick es el típico chico heterosexual que juega al rugby. Sin embargo, se empieza a sentir atraído por Charlie y allí comienza a cuestionarse por primera vez su sexualidad, hasta que acepta que es bisexual y empieza un romance con Charlie. Salvo que lo mantienen en secreto hasta que Nick se sienta preparado para decirle al mundo su verdad.
This series focuses, in particular, on Charlie and Nick, two teenagers who meet at school and create a friendly relationship. Charlie is gay and everyone knows it. On the other hand, at first glance Nick is a typical straight boy who plays rugby. However, he starts to be attracted to Charlie and there he begins to question his sexuality for the first time, until he accepts that he is bisexual and begins an affair with Charlie. Except they keep it a secret until Nick feels ready to tell the world his truth.

Esta serie es reconfortante. Desde la primera temporada quedé encantada y enamorada con todo lo que es capaz de transmitir en capítulos con una duración menor a 40 minutos. Es esa serie que cada vez que la miras te hace sentir bien. Te deja buenos sentimientos. Te hace sentir que todo estará bien.
This series is heartwarming. Since the first season I was enchanted and in love with everything it is capable of transmitting in chapters with a duration of less than 40 minutes. It is that series that every time you watch it makes you feel good. It leaves you with good feelings. It makes you feel that everything will be okay.
Los temas que aborda son muy importantes, y lo hace de una manera clara, no da vueltas y es directa. Deja muy lindos mensajes para las personas que se puedan sentir identificadas con algunas de las situaciones que viven los personajes. También para los que estén afuera deja mensajes de ser tolerantes y buenos compañeros, no juzgar al otro por lo que es y tratar de ayudar siempre que se pueda.
The topics she addresses are very important, and she does it in a clear, straightforward and direct way. It leaves very nice messages for people who can identify with some of the situations the characters go through. Also for those who are outside, it leaves messages of being tolerant and good companions, not judging others for what they are and trying to help whenever possible.

En cuanto a lo visual, en esta producción se usa mucho la paleta de colores fríos que reflejan los momento tensos o difíciles que puedan estar atravesando los personajes y los cálidos cuando se sienten bien y están en un lugar seguro o con una persona que los hagan sentir bien. Me gusta mucho la combinación de estos colores en ocasiones, sobre todo los azules y los amarillos. En esta segunda temporada también se usaron los púrpuras muy oscuros que se reflejaba como un lugar del que había que irse porque se siente violento.
In terms of visuals, this production uses a lot of cold colors that reflect the tense or difficult moments that the characters may be going through, and warm colors when they feel good and are in a safe place or with a person that makes them feel good. I really like the combination of these colors at times, especially the blues and yellows. This second season also used the very dark purples which was reflected as a place you had to leave because it feels violent.
Aparte de los temas de identidades también es un canto a la amistad, no es la típica historia de amor adolescente. Va más allá, acá se reivindican los vínculos de amistad y lo importante que pueden llegar a ser. Incluso más que los de amor. La amistad es hermosa cuando es pura, libre de toxicidad, es otro tipo de amor. Amo mucho a mis amigas y cuando terminé de ver esta segunda temporada quise ir corriendo a abrazarlas y agradecerles por tenerlas en mi vida. Así que como verán, también me removió sentimientos importantes al respecto.
Apart from the identity issues, it is also an ode to friendship, it is not the typical adolescent love story. It goes beyond that, it vindicates the bonds of friendship and how important they can be. Even more than those of love. Friendship is beautiful when it is pure, free of toxicity, it is another kind of love. I love my friends very much and when I finished watching this second season I wanted to run to hug them and thank them for having them in my life. So as you will see, it also stirred important feelings in me about it.

Otra cosa que se está cociendo en esta temporada es un problema que está acarreando Charlie pertinente a su alimentación. Además de que se empiezan a revelar parte de lo que tuvo que vivir en el momento en que todos se enteraran que era gay, como el bullying que sufrió y cómo le afectó. También se habla sobre las segundas oportunidades y del perdón.
Another thing that is brewing in this season is a problem that Charlie is having with his diet. Besides that they start to reveal part of what he had to live at the time when everyone found out he was gay, such as the bullying he suffered and how it affected him. They also talk about second chances and forgiveness.
En definitiva es una serie inclusiva que deja buenos valores. Es ideal para ver en una tarde de corrido ya que los capítulos duran poco y te mantiene con ganas de seguir mirando. Espero que se den la oportunidad de verla si todavía no lo hicieron.
