I agree with almost all of your opinions. I also found the ending rushed. Although I liked the film, I think too many concessions were made to the combat scenes. It started as a psychological thriller poised to delve into a mystery, only for that mystery to suddenly turn into a sort of 'zombie' chase (the hollow men) for a good stretch of the plot. That part bored me a bit. Otherwise, I repeat, I agree with you and consider it an enjoyable work for three-quarters of its runtime.

The shift to action with the Hollow Men did feel a bit out of sync with the slow burn mystery they set up early on. Still, like you said, the first three quarters were really solid. Appreciate you sharing your take !
