Siempre he admirado el trabajo policial; tal vez la experiencia de ver series policiales con mi papá me ayudó a desarrollar esa curiosidad. Y siempre me he preguntado: por qué una persona es capaz de cometer un asesinato?

ESCENAS:
Dos escenas en particular me llamaron la atención. La primera es cuando Cindy está sola en las calles durante la noche. No pasa nadie, y decide regresar a su hotel. Al cruzar la calle, se encuentra con un alce. Se miran y luego ella continúa su camino. No se si fue una escena improvisada y pasa frecuente en ese estado o tiene un simbolismo.
La otra escena es: cuando el asesino cena con su hermosa familia, en un ambiente de tranquilidad, pero también de tensión. Le dice a su esposa: “Me voy, tengo trabajo”. Ella se queda callada y molesta. Me preguntaba qué haría ella cuando descubriera la verdad, sus hijos, que se hace en un caso asi...
SCENES
Two scenes in particular caught my attention. The first is when Cindy is alone on the streets at night. No one passes by, and she decides to return to her hotel. As she crosses the street, she encounters a moose. They look at each other and then she continues on her way. I don't know if it was an improvised scene and happens frequently in that state or it has a symbolism.
The other scene is: when the killer has dinner with his beautiful family, in an atmosphere of tranquility, but also of tension. He tells his wife: “I'm leaving, I have work to do”. She remains silent and upset. I was wondering what she would do when she found out the truth, her children, what to do in a case like this...
ACTORES PRINCIPALES
El personaje de Cindy Paulson- Vanessa Hudgens, está muy bien logrado. Uno llega a ponerse en su lugar y entender por qué terminó en las calles. Me gustaron especialmente sus escenas con el cabello despeinado y el maquillaje corrido, se siente real.
Nicolas Cage - detective Jack Halcombe, me gustó su forma de hablar con con Cindy. Ella no confía en nadie, pero él logra ganarse su confianza poco a poco.
Robert Hansen- John Cusack, es frío, calculador y organizado. Lleva una vida perfecta: es padre, esposo, panadero... y asesino.
Que se dedicara a la panadería me sorprendio . Hacer pan es algo hermoso, y cuando amasas la masa, le transmites tus emociones. Me imagino que sus panes eran fríos y sin sabor.
MAIN ACTORS
The character of Cindy Paulson- Vanessa Hudgens, is very well done. You get to put yourself in her shoes and understand why she ended up on the streets. I especially liked her scenes with her hair disheveled and her makeup smeared, it feels real.
Nicolas Cage - Detective Jack Halcombe, I liked the way he talks to Cindy. She doesn't trust anyone, but he manages to win her trust little by little.
Robert Hansen - John Cusack, is cold, calculating and organized. He leads a perfect life: he is a father, a husband, a baker... and a murderer.
That he went into baking surprised me. Baking bread is a beautiful thing, and when you love dough, you transmit your emotions to it. I imagine his breads were cold and tasteless.
Lo más interesante para mí fue el interrogatorio final. Se nota la tensión entre los dos personajes y cómo el policía logra que él confiese.
Lo que no me gusto, fue que siempre vemos a las esposas de los policías que no le dan apoyo, a veces no entiendo si te casaste con el , sabias su profesión por que no apoyarlo? , sin embargo casi al final le muestra su apoyo.
En general la película me gusto, el ambiente es oscuro, frío, con una interesante trama que no aburre lo más aterrador es que fue un caso real ocurrido en Alaska entre 1970 y 1983.
Al final, presenta las imágenes reales de las víctimas y también deja abierta la posibilidad de más casos. y conocemos la foto de la verdadera Cindy, quien hoy está casada y tiene tres hijos.
Mi aprendizaje tras ver esta película es que la maldad puede esconderse en cualquier persona, incluso en un vecino ejemplar.

What I did not like, was that we always see the wives of the policemen who do not support him, sometimes I do not understand if you married him, you knew his profession why not support him? However, almost at the end she shows her support.
In general I liked the movie, the atmosphere is dark, cold, with an interesting plot that does not bore the most frightening thing is that it was a real case that occurred in Alaska between 1970 and 1983.
At the end, it presents the real images of the victims and also leaves open the possibility of more cases, and we know the picture of the real Cindy, who today is married and has three children.
My learning after watching this film is that evil can hide in anyone, even in an exemplary neighbor.
