CineTV Contest : Free Willy

This is the first time I will participate in a writing contest here at Hive. Well I hope even though this is my first time to join and try I can still do it well. So please bare with me. 😊

My favorite movie about water is entitled Free Willy, a movie from 1993. This movie is about a boy and a whale who find a friend in each other. I won't go into too much detail about the whole story, but I assure you that this is one of the best movies of all time. If you want to know the story you can watch it on different streaming platforms.

So let's go to the main topic. The water is the most important plot of the movie because the whole story happened here. Water is also the reason why the heroes of the story met. Water connected them as well as other characters in the said movie. Well knowing that the main character is a whale, you can really imagine that the setting of the movie is in the water.

What I liked most about this movie is that it is based on real life story. Yes, what you see in the movie really happened. This is not just fiction because the movie is based on a story in real life.

I think that this movie had a great influence on me as well as those who watched it together by showing in the movie how we should appreciate animals, our environment, our loved ones, our occupations and our friends.

I found all parts of the movie really interesting. From the first to the last part of the film, the ending, every event is important. But what I liked the most in all the scenes was how a person (child) and an animal (whale) became friends. And I can say that this part is really heart warming.

And honestly, this movie would not be successful if it wasn't for the talented actors and actresses who portrayed the characters in the movie. Salute to all of them because they really did justice to every role by their performance here.

Above all, for me this movie is one of the greatest movies among all. Because this movie does not discuss only one theme but many.
The film tackles various themes, such as environmental conservation, animal welfare, and the importance of family. It sheds light on the cruel reality of keeping marine mammals in captivity for entertainment purposes.

Also, you can really learn a lot from watching it. It's not just for children or the elders because the movie is for the mass or for all of the ages. You will feel all the emotions while watching it, it will make you cry, laugh, be sad, thrill, worry and many others. So for me this movie is really a great movie.

The movie has three parts, from the first part to its Part 3 but I can say that the first part is really my favorite. Well all part of it is undeniably beautiful and interesting but the as I said the first part is the one who really captivated my attention and heart.
