Pain Hustlers - Addiction to money can take you far away | Movie Review 🎥🍿

Feliz jueves a todos, ya terminando la jornada laboral, quería ver una película asombrosa que tenía mucho tiempo posponiendo, ya que había leído reseñas que no eran tan positivas, pero qué más da, si tengo que dar una opinión tiene que ser algo propio jaja. Así que sin esperar más busque alguna botana y busque en Netflix esta asombrosa película de la mano del director David Yates, el artista que también estuvo detrás de la saga de Harry Potter y animales fantásticos. Pero, aunque en esta película no se use ningún tipo de magia, pues la película tiene ese efecto hipnotizante que te atrapa tal como un hechizo, ya que desde el primer momento te hace sentir como si estuvieras en una situación similar y te identificas muy bien con la protagonista.

Además, claro, de tener unos tremendos actores tales como: Emily Blunt, Chris Evans y Andy García, que le dan ese toque especial a esta mega producción, y otro aspecto que me imperfecciono bastante de esta película fue conocer que se trata de una historia real, de un suceso que ocurrió en estados unidos y que al día de hoy sigue afectando menormente al país. Pero hablemos de que va la trama de Pain Hustlers.

Happy Thursday everyone, already finishing the workday, I wanted to see an amazing movie that I had long postponed, since I had read reviews that were not so positive, but what the hell, if I have to give an opinion it has to be something of my own haha. So without waiting any longer look for some snacks and search Netflix for this amazing movie from the hand of director David Yates, the artist who was also behind the Harry Potter saga and fantastic animals. But, although no magic is used in this film, the movie has that mesmerizing effect that traps you just like a spell, since from the first moment it makes you feel as if you were in a similar situation and you identify very well with the protagonist.

Besides, of course, having some tremendous actors such as: Emily Blunt, Chris Evans and Andy Garcia, who give that special touch to this mega production, and another aspect that made me quite imperfect about this film was to know that it is a true story, of an event that happened in the United States and that today continues to affect the country in a minor way. But let's talk about the plot of Pain Hustlers.

La película comienza con Liza, una madre americana que es un fracaso total, trabaja como stripper para obtener algo de dinero y así poder mantener a su hija, una chica que también se mete en problemas. La vida de Liza se complica cuando su hija inicia un incendio en la escuela que la obliga a atender esa situación perdiendo su trabajo, no sin antes conocer a Pete, un hombre adinerado que le ofrece un trabajo decente con el que puede ganar más de $100K al año. aunque al principio Liza es incrédula, luego de perder su empleo como stripper, decide acudir a Pete en busca de ese trabajo soñado.

The film begins with Liza, an American mother who is a total failure, working as a stripper to get some money to support her daughter, a girl who also gets into trouble.Liza's life gets complicated when her daughter starts a fire at school that forces her to attend to that situation by losing her job, but not before she meets Pete, a wealthy man who offers her a decent job with which she can earn over $100K a year. although at first Liza is incredulous, after losing her job as a stripper, she decides to go to Pete in search of that dream job.

Aunque cuando Liza llega a Zanna, una empresa farmacéutica que vende fentanilo para pacientes con cáncer terminal, está en bancarrota ya que están fuera del mercado por la competencia, así que para que contraten a Liza, Pete decide mentir en el curricular de Liza y le dan el empleo, y ahora la idea es convencer a un médico local que recete Zanna y así forrarse de dinero, aunque en un principio es difícil, lo logra poco a poco, pero el problema es cuando Liza descubre los terribles efectos secundarios del medicamento a base de fentanilo, dejándola horrorizada y con un objetivo en mente.

En mi opinión, la película es bastante increíble, primero nos muestra como una mujer con un objetivo claro y muchas ganas de sobrevivir logra todo lo que siempre quiso, tener una vida cómoda y darle a su hija una vida de ensueño. Pero todo se torna gris en la película cuando Liza descubre el mal que están haciendo en la sociedad con el producto Zanna, cuando todo se sale de control.

Yo investigue un poco ya que como mencione al principio es una película basada en la vida real, de un caso que ocurrió no hace mucho. De la farmacéutica Insys Therapeutics, que en la vida real hizo que se alborotara mucho más la crisis de los opioides y los entresijos. Y claro lo que voy a decir a continuación es mera especulación, pero viendo las cosas uno va conectando todo. Y es que la gran crisis del fentanilo que se vive hoy en América del norte y que se está extendiendo a todo el mundo, pudo averse extendido como candela cuando le agregas gasolina por culpa del medicamento de Insys Therapeutics, ya que por la mera codicia incentivaban a los doctores a recetar el producto a base de fentanilo con jugosas comisiones de venta y recetarlo hasta para los dolores de cabeza, y esto hizo que la adicción fuera brutal.

In my opinion, the movie is quite incredible, first it shows us how a woman with a clear objective and a lot of desire to survive achieves everything she always wanted, to have a comfortable life and give her daughter a dream life. But everything turns gray in the film when Liza discovers the evil that is being done in society with the product Zanna, when everything gets out of control.

I did some research since as I mentioned at the beginning it is a movie based on a real life case that happened not too long ago. From the pharmaceutical company Insys Therapeutics, which in real life made the opioid crisis and the ins and outs of it much more rampant. And of course what I'm going to say next is mere speculation, but looking at things one is connecting everything. The fact is that the great fentanyl crisis that is being experienced today in North America and that is spreading all over the world, could have spread like wildfire when you add gasoline because of the Insys Therapeutics drug, since for mere greed they encouraged doctors to prescribe the fentanyl-based product with juicy sales commissions and prescribe it even for headaches, and this made the addiction brutal.

Aunque también la película deja un poderoso mensaje sobre lo que es la verdadera felicidad y que por perseguir riqueza podemos hacer daño a otros, en conclusión, es una película fantástica que nos enseña mucho de la cultura americana lol. Pero como mencione al principio es una película bastante recomendada, si quieres entretenimiento del más puro nivel pues Pain Hustlers es la película perfecta para ti.
