Ya por fin es fin de semana y cómo ha sido una semana larga y llena de desafíos, quise ver una película que fuera un total desafío y bueno me refiero a que sea un desafío para el protagonista, una película que sea bastante impactante y que tenga muchísimo suspenso y que mejor idea que El Cazador del Silencio o como dice su título en inglés The Silencing. Escogí esta película principalmente porque estaba en el top 10 de películas de Netflix que aunque en este momento está muy plagado de películas decembrina quería ver algo diferente aunque más adelante comentaré este tipo de películas decembrina porque hay bastantes que son muy buenas pero por ahora quería comentar esta que de antemano te digo es toda una maravilla del suspenso.

Antes de comenzar también quería comentar una alegre noticia Y es que me di cuenta que recientemente he alcanzado la meta de 15,000 post en mi blog de high claro esto se divide entre comentarios y publicaciones pero me alegra mucho saber que desde que inicié en esto en diciembre del 2017 hasta el día de hoy he hecho más de 15,000 publicaciones, y es toda una alegría ver que la constancia y el esfuerzo han valido la pena claro pienso que para mediados del año que viene espero llegar por lo menos a la meta de 20,000 publicaciones Y si puedo más también sería algo genial.

I chose this movie mainly because it was in the top 10 of Netflix movies that although at this time is very plagued with decembrina movies I wanted to see something different although later I will comment this type of decembrina movies because there are quite a few that are very good but for now I wanted to comment this one that in advance I tell you is all a marvel of suspense.

Ahora sí hablemos un poco de la trama de el cazador del silencio.

La película comienza con Rayburn, un hombre que es una especie de guardabosque de un santuario que lleva el nombre de su hija, pero que vive una vida muy lamentable ya que en los últimos años perdió a su hija y por esa razón perdió las ganas de vivir así que se la pasa cuidando el bosque pero al mismo tiempo alcoholizado y de la misma manera también trata de encontrar a su hija colocando carteles de desaparecida por toda el pueblo. Mientras tanto a las orillas de un río la sheriff Alice junto con el policía Karl blackhawk encuentran una joven asesinada de manera brutal y los indicios que encuentran es una lanza de cazador y una marca muy extraña en el cuello de la víctima. Y como es normal que en este pueblo ocurran desapariciones de adolescentes y niñas la policía relaciona este asesinato con las desapariciones, así que se inicia una carrera contrarreloj para poder encontrar este asesino y capturarlo mientras que al mismo tiempo Rayburn quiere encontrar la verdad sobre la desaparición de su hija.

And as it is normal that in this town disappearances of teenagers and girls occur, the police relate this murder to the disappearances, so a race against time begins to find this murderer and capture him while at the same time Rayburn wants to find the truth about the disappearance of his daughter.

Ahora esta película es sumamente espectacular me recordó mucho a la película de suspenso criminal llamada the snowman donde también están persiguiendo un asesino serial donde su marca es hacer un muñeco de nieve en sus víctimas. Pero esta película que también es de suspenso y acción criminal está dirigida por Robin Pront Yo también ha hecho otras películas poco conocidas. Pero el detalle con esta película y es lo que hace que sea sumamente interesante es que está bien desarrollada con un elenco muy sólido.

Como protagonista principal tenemos a Nicolaj Coster-Waldau, famoso actor por ser Jaime lannister en juego de tronos. Así que ese factor más la excelente trama hace que sea la combinación perfecta ya que Nicolaj es convincente en su papel como Rayburn un hombre atormentado por su pasado y por las malas decisiones que hicieron que perdiera a su hija. Además la película también es visualmente atractiva ya que el bosque como un personaje importante de la película junto con el peligro que se vive en cada escena por el asesino que casa sus presas y que esto se mezcla con el suspenso y el peligro le da ese toque sumamente emocionante a la trama.

Now this movie is extremely spectacular it reminded me a lot of the crime thriller called the snowman where they are also chasing a serial killer where his trademark is to make a snowman on his victims. But this movie which is also a crime thriller and action movie is directed by Robin Pront I have also made other little known movies. But the detail with this movie and is what makes it extremely interesting is that it is well developed with a very solid cast.

As the main protagonist we have Nicolaj Coster-Waldau, famous actor for being Jaime lannister in game of thrones. So that factor plus the excellent plot makes it the perfect combination as Nicolaj is convincing in his role as Rayburn a man tormented by his past and the bad decisions that caused him to lose his daughter. In addition the film is also visually appealing as the forest as an important character of the film along with the danger that is experienced in every scene by the murderer who marries his prey and that this is mixed with the suspense and danger gives that extremely exciting touch to the plot.

Y un último factor que destaco de esta película de suspenso y crimen es que el final es bastante impresionante de hecho ni siquiera lo ves venir ya que el giro en la trama es espectacular porque llega un momento en que puede parecer que atraparon al asesino pero el giro que viene después es sorprendente además el final también es bastante satisfactorio.

Así que en conclusión si quieres disfrutar de una buena película de fin de semana con giros en la trama asombroso actores que hacen un papel muy bueno y convincente y sobre todo una trama bien hecha en un ambiente que encaja perfectamente con la película te recomiendo the Silencing. Así que muchas gracias por ver esta recomendación y opinión de esta película lanzada en el 2020 que aunque ya salió hace 3 años la verdad para mí es bastante actual y la trama como ya mencioné es extraordinaria por nada está en la posición 6 de las más vistas a nivel global en Netflix.
