Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - It is undoubtedly much better than the first part [EN/ES]

When we think of the second part of a movie, it usually comes to mind that it will be a bad movie and we have had many examples of movies that although the first part was a marvel and mesmerized everyone and captivated millions, the second part unfortunately disappoints us in a terrible way.

For example, the movies starring Jim Carrey as the almighty Mask and the detective Ace Ventura. The first part of these movies were extremely excellent and wonderful, they made a before and after in the stories of cinema and in the career of this artist, but the second part was a total failure, another notable example is American Psycho starring Christian Bale, the first movie was quite good and has become an icon of popular culture, but the second part of american Psycho let's say in good terms that it is the worst thing that has come out in the cinema practically threw away everything that the first film wanted to transmit or achieved in the audience, being the second part of american Psycho a cheap imitation of scream.

But of course there are also quite notable exceptions for example if we talk about the Shrek saga we can see that the first film was excellent the second film surpassed the first and so on, in fact they even released a spin off talking about Puss in Boots where again we see that same pattern of success where the second film surpasses the first. And today I would like to share with you a movie that in my opinion and the opinion of all the audience and the public in general has far surpassed the first movie of that franchise we are talking about spider-man across the spider-verse, which is the second part of the story of Miles Morales.

Why is this movie so fascinating? why has it captivated the audience so much and what makes this movie so special? well I would like to answer these questions and more in this short review. But first let's talk a little bit about its plot, because in order to understand it, you have to know what the movie is about.

Cuando pensamos en la segunda parte de una película normalmente se nos viene a la mente que será una película mala y es que hemos tenido muchísimos ejemplos de películas que aunque la primera parte fue una maravilla e hipnotizó a todo el mundo y cautivó a millones, la segunda parte lamentablemente nos decepciona de una manera sumamente terrible.

Para poner un ejemplo las películas donde actúa Jim Carrey como la máscara todopoderoso y el detective Ace ventura. La primera parte de estas películas fueron sumamente excelentes maravillosas hicieron un antes y un después en las historias de al cine y en la carrera de este artista pero la segunda parte fue un total fracaso, otro ejemplo bastante notable es de american Psycho protagonizada por Christian Bale la primera película fue bastante buena y se ha convertido en un icono de la cultura popular, pero la segunda parte de american Psycho digamos en términos buenos que es lo peor que ha salido en el cine prácticamente tiró a la basura todo lo que la primera película quiso transmitir o consiguio en la audiencia, siendo la segunda parte de american phico una imitacion barata de scream.

Pero claro también hay excepciones bastante notables por ejemplo si hablamos de la saga de Shrek podemos ver que la primera película fue excelente la segunda película superó a la primera y así sucesivamente, de hecho hasta sacaron un spin off hablando del gato con botas donde de nuevo vemos ese mismo patrón de éxito donde la segunda película supera a la primera. Y hoy quisiera compartir con ustedes una película que según mi parecer y el parecer de toda la audiencia y el público en general ha superado con creces a la primera película de esa franquicia estamos hablando de spider-man across the spider-verse, qué es la segunda parte de la historia de miles Morales.

Por qué esta película es tan fascinante? por qué ha cautivado tanto a la audiencia y qué es lo que hace tan especial esta película? bueno me gustaría responder estas preguntas y otras cosas más en esta pequeña reseña. Pero antes hablemos un poco acerca de su trama y es que para poder entenderla hay que saber de qué va la película.

The movie directly follows its prequel where we see that Miles Morales has acquired the powers of spider-man and with the help of his spider-man friends from other dimensions has managed to defeat kingpin but in this movie we see that the consequences never go away, one of these consequences in this new movie across the spider-verse is the new villain called the Blob who turns everything upside down with his power of interdimensional blobs that make him able to travel between dimensions which he uses to recharge his power and take away something that most Morales loves very much. So to stop this interdimensional threat avengers level all spider-man from all universes and all the movies we have seen before will unite in this new installment to stop the Blob and also reveal painful truths about spider-man from miles Morales.

To begin with I can say that this movie literally blows your mind although the movie mainly focuses on Miles Morales and his development as Spider-Man, the truth is that it also focuses a lot on the life of Gwen Stacy or Spider-Woman. Since from the very beginning we see what made her become the spider-man she is since as a general rule a spider-man always has to lose a loved one since that gives him the attitude and motivation needed to become spider-man and move on in this case Gwen Stacy lost her best friend Peter Parker so that is what the movie shows in the beginning and then we move on to amáis Morales where she balances her life as a superhero in Brooklyn while trying to balance it with her family and school social life.

La película sigue directamente a su precuela donde vemos que miles Morales ha adquirido los poderes del hombre araña y con la ayuda de sus amigos spider-man de otras dimensiones ha logrado vencer a kingpin pero en esta película vemos que las consecuencias nunca desaparecen, una de estas consecuencias en esta nueva película across the spider-verse es el nuevo villano llamado la Mancha que pone todo de cabeza con su poder de manchas interdimensionales que lo hacen capaz de viajar entre dimensiones lo cual usa para recargar su poder y quitarle algo que más Morales ama muchísimo. Así que para detener esta amenaza interdimensional nivel vengadores todos los Spiderman de todos los universos y todas las películas que hemos visto anteriormente se unirán en esta nueva entrega para detener a la Mancha y además revelarnos verdades dolorosas sobre spider-man de miles Morales.

Para comenzar puedo decir que literalmente esta película te vuela la cabeza aunque la película principalmente se enfoca en miles morales y en su desarrollo como spider-man la verdad es que también se centra mucho en la vida de Gwen Stacy o spider woman. Ya que desde un mismo principio vemos lo que hizo que ella se formara como la spider-man que es ya que como regla general un spider-man siempre tiene que perder a un ser amado ya que eso le da la actitud y la motivación necesaria para volverse spider-man y seguir adelante en este caso Gwen Stacy perdió a su mejor amigo Peter Parker así que eso es lo que muestra la película en un principio y luego pasamos amáis Morales donde equilibra su vida como superhéroe en Brooklyn mientras trata de equilibrarlo con su vida social familiar y escolar.

So one of the most striking things of this movie is the explanation of the history of the characters which is quite attractive and makes you can understand the plot much better because when we understand why when is the way it is we can humanize more with her and feel like her. Another thing that attracts a lot of this new installment is obviously that hundreds of thousands of different spider-man appear and is that all the spider-man you can imagine appear t-rex spider-man a pregnant spider-man a spider-man child a spider-man cat a spider-man horse hundreds and hundreds of spider-man you can imagine even appear even the spider-man we have seen before as the avengers spider-man of Andrew Garfield spider-man of tobey maguire and the spider-man of all the cartoons that Marvel and Sony has released.

Además otra cosa que atrae muchísimo de esta nueva entrega es obviamente el que aparecerán cientos de miles de diferentes spider-man y es que aparecen todos los spider-man que te puedas imaginar t-rex spider-man un spider-man embarazada un spider-man niño un spider-man gato un spider-man caballo cientos y cientos de spider-man que te puedas imaginar incluso hasta aparecen los spider-man que hemos visto anteriormente como el de los vengadores spider-man de Andrew Garfield spider-man de tobey maguire y los spider-man de todas las caricaturas que ha lanzado Marvel y Sony.

Además es sumamente fascinante ver como todos estos spider-man se entrelazan entre sí y cada uno tiene un propósito en todo el spider verso.

También el hecho de que se revelen verdades sumamente impresionantes en esta película sobre miles Morales es otro punto bastante fuerte de esta película y de hecho es lo que más esperamos al verla. Esa sensación de peligro que siente más morales y de miedo por descubrir la verdad sumamente impresionante. También puedo destacar el hecho de que incluyan la historia de Miguel ojara el spider-man 2099. Uno de los spider-man más impresionantes por su avanzada tecnología y que podemos ver también en diferentes videojuegos siendo el más reciente el título de spider-man edge of time.

Ahora otra cosa en lo que esta película hizo que mejoró mucho más que su primera parte fue el soundtrack como recordar remos la primera parte de esta película tuvo un soundtrack bastante impresionante y nos regaló una de las canciones más icónicas de todos los tiempos sunflower de post malone, pero en esta ocasión el proyecto de darle vida con música está maravillosa película fue del productor metro boomin donde trabajó de manera excelente y destacada dándonos un largo soundtrack lleno de canciones épicas e icónicas como Calling, self love y What's up danger.

Y una última cosa que considero sumamente legendaria de esta película que impactó muchísimo y que también es un spoiler es que esta segunda entrega en realidad es una historia dividida en dos y la segunda parte de esta la veremos en el 2024 siendo el final de esta historia.

En conclusión puedo decir que spider-man a Cross the spider-verse es la mejor película de animación de todo el año dándonos una historia bastante fuerte hermosa cargada de sentimientos y sobre todo que conecta muy bien con la audiencia además de ofrecernos una gran variedad de personajes que siempre hemos recordado con cariño ya sean de películas o de caricaturas y por último El tratar de indagar o explorar a otros personajes del universo de Marvel como es el spider-man de 2099. Y claro está el soundtrack tan maravilloso de esta película que hace que te enamores de ella así que por esta y más razones que se me olvidó mencionar porque el post no puede ser tan largo es que a mí me fascinó spider-man a Cross the spider-verse pero ahora te toca a ti.
